SW Ding announcement today 14th

I assume the hype is about the prizes they plan to award thru Ding. This was in my RR email....
"In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, we're giving out prizes such as Rapid Rewards credits, Awards (including some with no seat restrictions) and even Companion Passes to 20 lucky Members every day for 20 weeks and notifying them through the web tool, DING!"

I got the message in the DING today, too. I am curious. Now, a few weeks ago DING had a 2 yr anniversary sale and I was able to get $29 fare down and back. I doubt it will go that low again, but who knows? I can't wait to find out!

Since this is Rapid rewards I guess you would have to have that attached to your Ding to get these special offers.

Those that don't have the message do you have RR and is it linked to your Ding.

I might go install it on DD computer with DW RR number.

Just got the first morning DING here. Not for MCO though.

GREAT PRICE from SDF to Chicago or Baltimore.
$25!!!
I haven't seen a DING that low in a long time. (We don't get the great $29 fares here from Louisville usually).

Just now got the Ding (10AM). Of course, NO LOUISVILLE....
And yes, my RR is linked to my Ding, but I didn't get the message yesterday - probably 'cause Louisville wasn't included.

I just go the good ding... a BUNCH of $25 aflights from baltimore to lots of place... I could fly to Chicago for $70 r/t after taxes... Not to shabby... To bad I dont need to go anywhere but to MCO in Aug

yea...I'm disappointed . On the other hand I could fly from Dallas to Denver for $25. Now if I could fly from Dallas to MCO for $25 that would be HOT .

I am tempted by a few $25 fares....such as Chicago to Norfolk, VA or Indy to BWI. It will cost as much or more in gas and parking to drive 2-2.5 hours each way to Indy or Chicago. I have enough trips going on in the foreseeable future..so guess I'll have to let it pass.

How do you know if your rr is attached to your ding? I didn't get any special messages othe than the usual dings (non worked for me). When I click update registration it does not have anything about rr numbers.
