SW credits and more credits

This is complicated so try to keep up.

I had SWA for SLC-MCO at full price. Today it dinged and I called and she canceled them and walked me thru getting the new tickets. No problems yet.

Then I see that I could save over $15 per ticket. This is where I really messed up. I canceled the second flights and rather than use the remaining credit from the first tickets, I put in the credits from the second tickets.

Do you follow what I did? Now I have credits on the first tickets and the seconds remaining.

Can SW merge the two credits? What can I do to make this more user friendly for me?

I am new to ding, SW and credits but I saved a total of $525.00 just one way today!

call this number and explain what happened and see what they can do for you. 1-214-7924223.

I think they can make decisions that a regular customer service rep can't.

Most likely they are still on the original credit as thats where the 2nd credit originated from.

I also keep a chart for my credits and when they are used just like my DVC points.

I have the original purchase date where and when they were used and so forth right on one chart.

It is simple to use two credits, when you go to book the return trip, you will use the ticketless travel funds. You can put as many of the 6 digit fund numbers as you need to book the trip. If you go to the site and go to travel tools and click "View Ticketless Travel Funds Balance"

You can see them now. It is very easy to do.

At least it is not $2400.00 like before....

I was thrilled to get a price in line with the other offers and still be on SW! We now have $525 in credit for this part of the trip and most likely will have the same once the MCO-SLC Dings.

Can you please explain to me how to put in more than one number? I only see one spot to put in the number. Do I just put a space in? Or a dash?

I am sorry, I am new and learning. I was happy to do Ding and to save the money.

Once you put in the confirmation number/name for the credit, hit "apply credits" (or funds, or whatever it says) - it will show the first credit reflected as used and then you can just put the second confirmaton number/name in the same place as you did the first.

I just did this yesterday w/ 2 credts - no problem at all.

We will return in June and the ding back was only until May. Now I just have to keep my eyes open for the return.

How often do you track the fares or are you signed up for notifications for specials via SW?

I booked a flight for my Mom the end of June for $126 each way from Long Island to MCO. Do you think the fairs may get lower from there - it was the lowest one currently available....
