Hello..just wanted other to know that I've read how people wanted to change their confirmation number in case they have an existing reservation with the same number. So that when it's sold or given away, that person can't mess with the original reservation. I was able to book a new flight and then cancel it to get a new number. Just wanted to pass that along in case anyone else has the same issue as I did...now just to sell the darn t:goodvibeshing!

I would be interested in your credit. Please PM me with credit amount and price you would be willing to sell it for.

Thanks!!!

Have you tentatively tried to pay for a new flight by applying those new travel funds (but not actually buying) to see if the funds stay in the new number or break apart into the previous confirmation numbers? Since SWA changed their procedures, I was wondering if it would retain the new reservation number when applied? I have had some of my confirmation numbers break apart when I try to apply them. It's tricky if you are receiving travel funds from someone else and think you are getting a "lump sum" to see them fracture apart into many pieces when applied to a ticket purchase. After they are fractured, you have to remove all but 3 of them and pay the balance with a credit card unless 4 of the pieces cover the cost of the ticket.

This is a little off topic, but i was so bummed, our ticketless funds expire nov 6, and we are flying 3 weeks later and i tried my hardest and they wouldnt extend for me. :(

My original voucher was for $434, so I priced a flight with the price the closest I could find at $432. I booked it, then canceled - that's how I got the new number.

It is against board guidelines to post attempts to sell airline credits...so I will be closing this thread.
