I'm looking at a SW flight MSP to MCO, with a plane change in St Louis. It's allowing 35 minutes for a plane change in St Louis. Last Wed we had 50 minutes for a plane change in MSP and it almost wasn't enough time because we left Duluth 25 minutes late, and then we ran to our connecting planes gate only to find out it had been changed and we had to run to another gate.

Would 35 minutes in St Louis be long enough, if our flight from MSP was on time? Why would they have these flights so close together?

The Southwest flights in St. Louis take off out of the East terminal that is almost all Southwest. It is very small and doesn't take much longer than 5 minutes to walk from one end to the other.

I don't know, but this must be a common thing for St Louis and SW. I have a 25 minute layover there coming up in July.

I did look at the map for the St Louis airport. It looks like all of the SW gates are all in one terminal. The gates they use are E4, E6, E8, E10, E12, E14,E16,E18, & E20.

E4-E20 could be a hike, but he others don't look too bad.

SWA frequently arrives a few minutes earlier than their stated arrival times, so I'm hoping that holds true here.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go for it! :thumbsup2
