Sw airfare went up

I have been watching the prices for our Dec. trip and when I checked this morning the prices have gone up. ( by $700) just since lasst week! Does anyone think they will come down? We're leaving on 12/5 from Kansas City. Is this a temp. increase like the gas prices just shot up and are now starting to come back down?

Don't worry the price you booked at is the price you pay. SW runs sales, when the sale is over the fare is back up. SW (like all airlines) have different prices, as the plane fills up the better discounted seats are gone and only the more expensive (refundable) tickets remain.
