SW $59 Leaving from BWI to MCO

I'm hoping for a better flight home from MCO to BWI Oct. 4th. It is $209 per person. Yikes. I'm thinking of flying AirTran for the return. I really want to fly Southwest though.

I bet it goes down again on Wednesday. I'm still on the "Dulles" watch for the $49 fare. BWI is just a bit inconvenient for me since I live in Virginia.

That would be nice. I'm flying out on Aug. 15 out of Dulles and paid $69 one way. I'm happy with that, but I'll take a $20 credit. The lowest I've ever seen out of Dulles is $54, but I've seen many $49 fares out of BWI -- BWI always has the better fare between the two.

That'd be nice at Dulles - but I already booked a lot of flights from BWI because they're so much cheaper - yes, it's going to take me much longer to get home from BWI.

well today it is $49 each way (i through in aug 20 to aug 28 dates) good luck guys...in islip where we take off
it is $109 ugh...

I am so upset right now! I got to work and went on to SW.com the 11:35am flight was $49. I was so happy. I put all are information in and hit the submit button only to get an error page telling me that the seats weren't available and to try again. They changed the fare back to $129!:headache::mad:

Oh, keep faith. Check it every day. The exact same thing happened to me for my end of July flights about 3 weeks ago. Some one is bound to cancel or change their flight to a more convienent time for them when the "more convienent time for them" flight price comes down. When they do this and your flight suddenly has excess seats available , the price will drop again. I checked and checked and snagged $59 flights. Of course one day later, they came down to $49 and I had to get a credit (that I will probably not be able to use) but at least I could afford the flights!

Thanks. The same thing happened to me on the flight going down. I was able to get 1 ticket for 8/24 soon after I posted this [I was on my way to a meeting and couldn't stop to repost:)]. Now I just need one more ticket for 8/24. I figure if the fare doesn't go down at least I was able to get the other tickets for $49. :goodvibes

I can finally rest! Yesterday I was able to get 1 ticket for 8/24 at for $49 and this morning before I left for work, I checked and the fare I needed was back at $49 again, so I got the second ticket. :cool1:

FYI...7:40 am, 8:20 am, 11:35 am, and 6:15 am (all nonstops) on 8/24 are still at $49.

Congrats!! I've gotten two price drop credits on our flight from BWI to MCO for 10/17, but what I reeeeeally want is an earlier flight for $49 rather than the one I have booked right now which gets us there at 4:00. It's my birthday that day---so I want to take advantage of a full (free) day in the MK if possible! :goodvibes
