SUV Question

Do the rental SUVs typically come with the privacy screen to cover the cargo area?

I would love to rent one of the small SUVs for my FL stay (thinking Jeep Liberty from Thrifty). On the last day, we will be putting the luggage in the car and heading to the parks for a few hours (flight is not until 6 PM) and then going directly to the airport. If there is no privacy cover, then I would have to go with a car. I would be too worried about the car being broken into in the parking lot otherwise.

So, what have your experiences been? Thanks ~

Sadly NO! Some of them will have screens, but in my experience most of them don't.

Several of my coworkers have been robbed while renting SUVs (which is why I won't take them anymore)

Thanks for the response Carol - That is what I was afraid of....if there was no screen I would be worried all day at the parks about our stuff. Who am I kidding....I would never leave my car like that for it to get robbed so I'd just have a lousy last day.

Oh well, looks like no SUV for us.
