Sushi?

Shiki-Sai is definitely the better choice for sushi (but they also have other Japanese food). Teppan Edo is a teppanyaki/hibachi experience.

Ahh gotcha, I just assumed, but thought it was weird they’d have 2 sushi places in one area. I should have checked the menus.
Shiki-Sai it is!!

Which of these would you choose and why?

Shiki is fantastic - it's a remodel of the restaurant that was there before - Tokyo Dining. There's a lot more on the menu besides sushi and you can almost do a "small plates" dinner if people want to share - that's what we did last month and when we were there in August so we could try more of the options. Teppan Edo is fun and good for what it is, but I stopped going there a long time ago.

If you enjoy sushi Shiki is very good quality fish. They are a bit pricy but the quality of their sushi is a step above what you would get in a normal sushi restaurant. They have a dish, I forgot the name but it’s a bowl of sushi rice with the sashimi fish cut on top. It’s so good and when it comes you can see the deep rich colors of the fish and that is reasonably priced. If your A wiskey drinker they have a large assortment of Japanese brands. On top of the sushi they have a large assortment of dishes. I haven’t been to Teppan Edo but many people have compared it to Benihana

Shiki-Sai is SO GOOD! Their menu has some great Japanese comfort food classics that are hard to get here, and their sushi is pretty top quality. I hope you enjoy it!
