DH and I love sushi. I prefer cooked shrimp or vegetable rolls. DH likes that plus the raw stuff.

It really depends on where you go. I can understand why most people don't like it - most places don't have good sushi. But when you find a good place, oh man it's heaven! But there is nothing worse than crappy sushi

DH, the kids, and I all love sushi. It's a pretty hefty bill for the 6 of us so we don't go as often as we like, but it's worth the wait.

Typical orders are maguro (blue fin or yellow fin tuna), tomago (sweet egg omelet), ikura (salmon roe with quail egg), sansei roll (spicy crab with thai chile sauce, very spicy!), spicy hamachi roll, tako (octopus), fluke, tai, etc

the kids all started eating sushi around the age of 2.

The only thing we avoid is sea urchin. My brother had a super small taste of sea urchin and had an allergic reaction to it.


DH said one of the best places he has had sushi is a little hole in the wall place called Blue Fin on Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting PA

LOVE it. Had it for the first time on a trip to Hawaii.... Got great advice from an expert in Sushi, so that helped.

Sushi and noodle shops are everywhere here. Genki Sushi, Aloha Sushi, etc.

We used to eat at a sushi place at Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu when we lived there. I can not remember the name though. Of course it was 15 years ago. LOL

This was Sensei in Maui. It was fabulous!!!
