This is a three part question...

(1) Is sushi available for lunch at Kona Cafe? I noticed it is only listed under the dinner menu on the WDW website.

(2) We will have the DxDDP. Does sushi count as an appetizer or as an entree? If it's an entree is it 1 roll = 1 entree? Any personal experience here would be welcomed!

(3) What's your opinion of their sushi? Any specific favorites?!

Sushi can count as either an appetizer or an entrée. Or that was my experience at California Grill. We were on the DxDP, and they allowed us to choose one roll for an app AND one for an entrée, so the two of us shared 4 rolls and dessert. It was great!

As for the sushi at Kona, I ate there 2 years ago, OOP. I did like the rolls, they were fresh and decent sized, not too big you feel silly stuffing it into your mouth if you know what I mean. I seem to remember that my favorite had some type of volcano or lava in the name. We did enjoy our offerings there.

1). Yes, sushi is on the lunch menu! We had the Lava Roll and the Nigiri last Thursday at noon. Yummy! Enjoy!

My very favorite meal next to Y&Y is the Crab Rangoon Sushi @ Kona. Coupled with the delicious Chocolate Banana Creme' Brulee and I am a happy camper!!! We were able to get it for lunch on our trip in May.
