Sushi at CG ?

Is all of the sushi on the menu at the California Grill available on the Dining Plan? Is the sushi as good as you would find in say NYC?

The sushi is outstanding.. Top quality... The Spicy Sensation is the best

I can;t answer the dining question part- but the quality of the sushi is superb. I would put it slightly behind blue ribbon (if you are familiar with that in the city). When we went up- they told us the sushi chef is rated 8 in the US or something like that

I believe the sushi is included; it's likely that you'll need to order one of the platters, as opposed to lots of a la carte dishes.

We just ate there last week and the table next to us was on the Dining Plan. I specifically remember the server stating there were a couple of Sushi items that were not included on the Plan as an appetizer. You could get them as a meal but not as an appetizer.

You definately need to look at this or call directly to the CG.

You can get sushi on the DDP, but there are 2 sushi dishes that you are not allowed. I know one is Yoshie's Deluxe Sushi Platter and I believe the other one is "Snake in the Grass." I don't eat sushi, but DBF does and we ate at CG twice on our last trip and both times he had the Yellowfin Tuna Three Ways - he said it was some of the best sushi he had ever had. We live in Boston, so I think the sushi here is somewhat on par with what it is in NYC, so for him to think that highly of it, it had to be pretty good! CG is a fabulous restaurant... I hope you enjoy yourself!

Sushi is AWESOME and available on the Dining Plan (even Snake in the Grass).

Yes, all of the sushi at the CG is included as an appetizer on the dining plan. And I have to say, that it's the best sushi I have ever had. Well, the Spicy Sensation is, anyway, I love it! And I am lucky enough to go to Nobu in Manhattan all the time, and the spicy sensation blows Nobu out of the water!

I guess it's included as an appetizer maybe on the dining plan - not sure because we don't do the dining plan. Did it once and it wasn't for us.

But, YES the sushi at CG is fantastic - better than any I've had in NYC. Hands down the best I've ever had!
