All,

I had dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse last night, Nov 10th (review to follow) and when we were leaving (about 8:00pm) Susan Lucci was waiting to be seated. My wife didn't even notice until I pointed her out.

She is in town for the Super Soap weekend that ended yesterday. We saw here quite a bit at MGM on Saturday. Walked right passed us with her security guards.

I saw her too! We had ADR's at Yachtsman for 745pm. She was seated a few tables away from us!

We were in the Beach Club Marketplace on Friday afternoon (around 1:00 pm) and she was in there shopping. DH pointed her out to me and said I should ask her for a picture. I told him no way, I didn't want to impose or bother her, besides, I was totally freaked out so I pretended I was shopping for pins so I could check her out without being noticed. DH ended up going up to her and telling her I was a big fan and she posed for a picture with me. She is sooooo tiny and very nice! We just happened to be in the right place at the right time because that was our last stop on our way home. Lucky me!

1) For those that don't know, most SSW celebs stay at BC/YC.
2) It is usually where most VIP's are put when WDW is paying for the room.
3) For events like SSW, they usually have a section of a floor dedicated.

NOTE: ssssshhhhh. now, be quiet. don't spread this around.

please, post a pic!

WOW - I would have freaked. She is probably the only soap star I remember -- always loved her and her made for TV movies too!

One they NEVER show but I have it on a very bad VHS tape (ha ha) is Mrs. Scrooge. The same old Scrooge theme but very nicely done! I liked it alot ... anyway, I digress ...

Thanks for sharing that info and YES -- if there is a pic, I would love to see it too!

Also the Swan and Dolphin had a few too, I asked a CM there, and she let us know who, but didn't say where.;) Shhhhhh.......

When I was a CM I met her during Super Soap Weekend. She was at MGM rehearsing for a show in front of the hat after closing one night and I was closing the front of the house at the Brown Derby. She came in and so very politely asked if she could use the restroom. What was I going to say sorry we are closed? I couldn't not believe how petite she was. She was so friendly and sweet. After she left I just stood there in shock.

Oh My! I would have been so excited if I was feet away from her. It would be a story I'd be telling friends and family for a long time!

She has been my favorite since I was 13 and started watching AMC!! (Now I am 44 if that gives you perspective ;) ) I no longer spend the time to watch soaps but love her just the same!

I think the movie you are referring to is called Ebbie. They show it on Lifetime every year. It is one of my favorites. It is very well done.
