Over the weekend there was a grand opening of a Galyans sporting goods store by me. Rupert from Survivor was there doing a meet and greet.... He is WAY cool! He was signing autographed pictures and tye dye T-shirts with his picture on it that said GOT FISH? Let me just say that he is just as kind and sweet as he was portrayed on the show!!!!!!! We stood in line for 1 hour and 40 minutes to meet him and would do it again in a heartbeat! He spent about 2-3 minutes with each person in line and you could just see it in his eyes that he just loves kids! My DD9 asked him to do his famous growl and he told her only if she would do it with him..... She did! Great picture!!!!!

This season will get more interesting. They've only been on the island for 9 days. Wait until 19....22...24...

I think Sarge and some of the other women like scout will emerge with more personality. Right now we aren't seeing all the behind the scenes going on in camp. Once there's fewer players we will see more of the "drama".

No clear favorite yet in my house. We're still evaluating.

I thought this was the "official" thread.

Any thoughts on last night's episode? I still haven't found anyone that I am particularly cheering for. The challenges last night were interesting, but this show needs more drama.

I liked how they mixed the tribes up last night. That was new. Why the heck did Scout put all but two girls on one team and all but 2 guys on the other? Didn't Jeff tell her to make sure she puts them even?

What the heck was Eliza saying about keeping the guys? HELLO? Wasn't she just on a team of ALL girls? So get rid of one guy, they still have another. It was guys vs. girls from the beginning, so she should not of been bothered about losing one of the men. It won't be long until the merge anyway.

I don't really have any favorites anymore. I watch it week to week, but I am not fazed by who goes home anymore.

I still haven't found one person I am cheering to make it to the merge yet either.

Man oh Man Twilla sure is a different Women with the guys. I have not seen her so happy since the beginning of the show.

John K is happy with the team switch up or he would have been the next to go.

And I am not sure why Lisa picked the team she did.

This season is so BORING! I don't even care who gets voted off anymore. Maybe it's because I enjoyed All-Stars so much - this is a let-down.

Of course, I'll still watch every week...

When Eliza was talking about taking one of the women out. They should have turned the tables and voted her out. That would have been Exciting.
You knew they were going to take one the guys out.

Didn't she pick the team with more women? That way she had the odds in her favor.

Was anyone else waiting for them to have *Lisa* be part of the reward? I think that would've been more fun -- since she was the odd person out, make her sit out the challenge, then the team that won reward would get to have their reward *and* Lisa. Play for that extra person.

Jeff was directing the choosing and when I got a look at the tribes I was confused as can be! how did they wind up so lopsided gender-wise? I thought they were attempting to even things out!!

Actually Sarge picked the team with the "extra guy", causing the teams to be so lop-sided...I think!

Rajah-I was thinking the same thing that Lisa should have been the reward.

The way the teams got lopsided is because there were 6 guys total. Sarge was up with Scout so he wasn't in the choosing. Scout divided them up so 3 ended up on one team and 2 on the other. Then Sarge decided to go with the team with 3 guys and he made the fourth.

I think a merge will be coming soon. Otherwise the team with more women can throw the immunity challenge and vote off their last man. Then when the merge comes around there are definately more women than men.

I thought "Bob Barker" (can't remember his name) maybe had a chance. I thought the women would of voted another women out, but I guess I was wrong.

So let's say next week that tribe looses again and the other guy goes, then you have 5 women left and if they merge, it will be 7 women and 5 guys right?
