It would be helpful if I knew the ages of the party-goers.
We did a Survivor party a couple years ago for a group of about 12 teens ages ranging between 15-18.
When guests got there they pulled out a colored buff from a bucket (no peeking). Then they answered a short survey: fav food, fav teacher, do they do own laundry, how many times take driving test, etc
The team decided on a team name and made a banner with squeeze bottled fabric paint. I used an old pillow case and attached it with clothes pins to a line.
DH and I planned a number of challenges:
Did a "how well do you think you know everyone" game. I made paper boxes with A,B, C, D and T, F. kids stand in line facing questioner - a question is read and they hold their box with answer choice facing out. They got individual and team point for this game.
an obstacle course that a person has to go through to find an object, person getting object is blindfolded and another is standing on platform (step stools) and calling instructions.
team challenge where they had to untie a rope of knots to get off pieces of a puzzle, once all piece have been untied then they could look at pieces and put together puzzle.
using paint guns they had to hit targets, team with most points (closer to bull's-eye = more points)
we also did a name that tune (we do this at every party - the kids always ask for it) we use locker size white boards and dry erase pens: 1 for each team, 1st one with legible answer get point
we did an eating challenge, nothing dangerous, just not typically liked (brussel sprouts, green olives, etc)
And the last challenge was done in the woods (we live on a couple acres, you could do it in a house or park) we hid identical objects each with a color specific ribbon (same as the buffs) and were given a number of items to find, and the 1st team to find all their objects won (all the objects they found PLUS all the objects the other team found) we used items like king size candy bars, a Starbucks coffee drink, 1 liter soda, pack of lip gloss, plus some weird things like flip-flops, bug spray, bandaid boxes, etc. The rule on this one was the object had to have your team's colored ribbon, you can not touch another teams object, and the team had to stay together.
At the end they hung around the campfire and roasted hot dogs, marshmallows and telling stories.
it's super fun to plan and throw parties...
feel free to PM me if you want more specifics on some of the games.
