Anyone else think this cast is just awful? I mean, in a sense I guess they're great because I want so many to fail and tune in for that, but personality wise, I hate so many of them.

Stephenie is BEYOND conceeded. How DARE anyone think of voting for her? Good lord - Get her off. I used to like her, but she's so full of herself it makes me sick.

Judd - This guy ain't got no skills, man. Man, I tell you what man, if I have something to say to him man, I'll say it man. Man, why don't you shut your fat trap man.

Lydia - Has she done anything since the show started?

Jaime - Was that Oliver Stone? Paranoid much?

The rest of the cast is OK. Now that Gary's gone, I think these people are gonna suffer a bit.

There is no way ANYONE on this season is as annoying as that truck driving chick (susan Hawke) that us Wisconsinites are proud to call our own. We are even more proud that she no longer lives in our fair state.

I think Judd is annoying, but really, none of the others bother me.

The series iwth the used car salesman....they had the Queen of Sheba chick--and some other guy I didn't like. And the chick who wanted nothing to do with the idol and broke out in song every now and then.

Rupert was the best on that though.

(Pearl Islands I think it was).

This series didn't seem to have as many that bothered me as much as those standouts did on PI.

I agree with all of this!

But I think the all time worst cast was that season whatsisname won. And if you said his name, it wouldn't sound familiar...he/the show were that dull. It was the season when it came down to a bunch of women and this one guy. :confused3

I too am disappointed to see Stephanie in a new light. Not liking her too much anymore.

I thought I was going to like Judd at first, but now I think he is basically a jerk.

Lydia needs to go now. She is a baby.

Jamie let the jungle get to him big time.

I was sorry to see Gary go. He was a good guy. I like Rafe. :)

Not sure about most annyoing, but DULLEST would be a tie between season 3 and season 5. 3 is only memorable because of my eye candy Ethan.

Season 5....Brian, Clay...and who else? Where was it filmed again? I don't even remember watching the finale on this one.

I like Rafe too. Only problem is, I start getting annoyed with the people who think they have NO chance of being voted out. I don't think he's received 1 vote yet.

I love it when Judd got caught lying about the immunity idle. He's such a scum bag. Everyone on the show lies. That's part of the game. But to judge others for doing it, then deny lying yourself is just the actions of a loser.

I found it so boring I stopped watching after the first episode.

Stephenie is awul. I hope she doesn't win. She was the one whining about not having any food at the merge...and now Lydia smashes her out and she acts like a big baby.

I love when people talk about others "deserving/not deserving" to be out there. Does ANYONE truly deserve to spend 39 days in the jungle and win a million dollars? Let's not kid ourselves. This is a game and it's NOT about deserving. Anyone that is still out there has obviously done SOMETHING right.

The best one ever was with "Rupert". Loved it when he stole the shoes from the rubber boat on the first show. It has gone downwards since then.

The most annoying cast member, to me, was that guy who lied about his Grandmother dying. I don't remember his name (John maybe?), but I know he had blonde hair and always sat at "tribal council" with his hands making the peace sign.

Yes, Season 3 was boring ... IMHO because of the fact that they had no water challenges! I think that's the problem with this season too.

Season 5 was in Thailand. the other "final 3" person was Jan, the nutcase that held funerals for dead birds she'd find around camp.

Now that Gary is gone, I have no idea who to cheer for. Maybe Rafe?

That was Survivor: Thailand. That season also had Big Ted and Ghandia, and they had the incident where she accused him of "grinding" on her. They blew a lot of screen time on that, and it was more irritating than anything else.

It also had that crazy old lady (Jan?) that buried the baby bat's carcass, and buried the chicken bones "out of respect" or something like that. Again, she was (way) more irritating than entertaining.

That had to be the worst season ever. It's no coincidence that the only one invited back for All Stars was Shii Ann. And when you heard she was going to be on the All Star edition, didn't you say to yourself "why?"

I'm enjoying Guatamela a lot, and this year's cast isn't any more annoying than any other season.

I was sorry to see Gary go, I like him.
I really like Rafe too, I would like to see him win it. My second choice would be Cindy.
Stephenie needs to be voted off ASAP.

Most annoying cast or worst Survivor? Different questions.

IMHO Survivor:Africa (Season 3) was the worst. No hunting, no fishing, no water. Watch people starve. Not enjoyable. Most annoying cast: Jonny Fairplay. The worst. Not even a shred of decency on that guy.

And I join the chorus that Stephenie has gotten worse (or is it just the editing) - from being the underdog and have a pity vote to being an annoying princess.

IMO the whole thing is running it's course and the feelings you are seeing towards this season are nothing more than people getting tired of the show, but they just don't realize it yet. JMHO

IMO this season is right there with the rest of them. The first ones will seem better because they were the first ones. Some of the players are more popular, but it's all pretty much the same.

I think it's time for another All Stars or a big change to the way the game works. The current thing, even with the twists, is getting old and the opinions towards this season prove it.

I think the problem isn't so much that the viewers are too familiar with the show, but that the contestants are so familiar with it. By now, everyone knows that if you can form a strong enough alliance you can pick off the rest. So after a few episodes a dominant alliance takes shape, and there's a series of shows with no suspense at all. Like the last show; it was obviously the end of Gary.

Then in the endgame, the allies start to turn on each other and position themselves for the $1M, and things get interesting again. That's what happened last season, when Tom/Ian/Katie turned the tables near the end. That was a pretty good season, but you forget that there were a lot of times when you knew 10 minutes into the show who would get booted. And some where you knew the week before.

They try to shake things up by shuffling the tribes, but that usually makes things worse. Each of the new tribes seems to have a strong group and some outsiders, so no matter which tribe gets immunity there's no suspense.

So the success of the show is now pretty much based on how interesting the castaways are. In that respect this is an OK season, IMO. Plus I personally like the jungle setting. It's nice to see them really suffer; some of the seasons - All Star comes to mind - were like a Club Med vacation by comparison.

I gotta go with Season 5 having the most annoying cast members- or the on with Twila/Scout/Chris. (season 9??)

Great point and I agree. Another reason to totally mix things up, and I don't mean little twists.
