I think that if I were in Cindy's shoes I would have done the same thing. I just hope that I would do a better job of explaining myself. Really, someone who's far from wealthy shouldn't be expected to give up a car. So she should have used that "zookeeper's salary" line in front of the team, instead of just to Steph. She also shouldn't have rambled on about how nice the car was. She was pretty tone deaf, all things considered.

I hadn't thought about Oprah or Ellen or somebody giving her a makeup car, but I'll bet that's what would have happened. Didn't Rosie do that once?

Of course, the winner gets $1,000,000. It has been well-established that second place gets $100,000. Even Jeff Probst has called Colby's decision to take Tina to the Final Two a, "$900,000 decision." It is also well-known that third and fourth place get $75,000 and $50,000 respectively, though some sources say fourth place is $60,000. After that, the information available has less corroberation.

From there it appears to go $50K, $40K, $30K, $20K, $15K, $12.5K, $10.5K, $8.5K, $6.5K, $4.5K, and $2.5K. This was back when there were sixteen Survivors... it isn't clear what they've done with the extra two (and All Stars didn't count, because the whole pay structure was different that season).

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not but did ya'll see the big smile on Judd's face after Cindy was voted out? I thought it strange since she was the only one that didn't vote for him last week. But maybe he didn't realize that and thought everyone had voted for him. I had missed Gary's expression last week so I made sure I paid attention this week.

If I was Cindy I would not have taken the car for myself. I would have thought it a much better deal all around to give everyone else a car and look good. I can't believe she was that greedy. I agree with Raffe. It should have been a non issue. I too was amazed she only thought of herself. I know I was pleased to see her go!

Correct me if I am wrong but it sounds like:
Cindy won the reward challenge, and could choose between one car for herself, or giving cars to all the others, and not having one for herself? And she chose to keep the car?
Who won immunity?
Who made the decision to vote out Cindy?

I noticed that too and think the same way, that he doesn't know yet who voted for him. I don't think they know anything until afterwards. They wouldn't want the jury to know exactly who voted for whom since that could change how they vote at the end. I'm sure Judd figures they all voted for him. I don't believe Jeff showed Cindy's vote since there was already enough to oust Judd at that point.

And there Lydia sits and listens and doesn't cause any problems. She hasn't done anything good in any challenges or immunity challenges. And then she just keeps smiling and clapping for whomever won.....

She just might go to the very end.

She was all snarky and said something like "I'll be watching the stars through the moon roof of my new car." I was beginning to like Cindy in the past few weeks, but last night put her right up there with Judd. Come on, even Jamie went out with dignity and good attitude.

It was something along the lines of "I'll wave to y'all from the sunroof of my new car." And we also thought that Judd was giving her the thumbs-up for the way she went out.

Here was my thought about the whole car curse thing. (If you were someone who believed in it.) A person who won the car has never won the million dollars, so..... if she gave them all cars, she would be the only one that could win the million dollars for the curse to still hold true. However, maybe it doesn't count if you are given one. For example, in All Stars, Rob actually won the car, but didn't Amber get one too since he took her on the reward? Then she won the million. Now I'm just rambling

Ya know, I just thought of something.... when you get to tribal council... isn't one of the first things (waaaayyyy before voting time) that Jeff asks "can I have the immunity idol back please". Am I right in this??? So, prior to voting, the idol should not have been around ANYONE's neck - so when they showed the four at tribal council and a vote was being read... could somebody have computer generated that in?? Or am I losing it??
