Survivor - Guatemala

Vecepia is still the definition of Under The Radar, but Cindy, especially early on, appeared to be the same way. Early on, they have more characters to get on camera, with the same 50 minutes of air time. I do think Cindy was on camera less than the others, but she also seems a bit quiet (again, could be the editing) and when you have Jamie and Judd around, you have lots of noise to compete with. And she certainly is a threat at the challenges.

Cindy and Mindy. How cute :goodvibes

I agree....I enjoy seeing Steph much more than I do Lydia... ;)

I had to laugh at Judd's angry comments. It was funny after he said that voting someone off was nothing personal but just part of the game. He sure took it personal!

Did he ever! He sounded like such a brat. He'll probably pull another Sue at the end.

I loved Gary's reaction last night when Judd was voted off! That was the best part! .

I missed that!! I have it on tape, I guess I can look it up.

I like Danni, Rafe, and Cindy and wouldn't mind seeing any of them win.

I feel the same way.

For those who don't like Lydia, but like Cindy, can you tell me what Cindy has done to earn her spot?

We all have our own opinions on who deserves what. But, IMO, Lydia has done a heck of a lot mor e in this game than past "coat tail" riders. I just don't see that she is under the radar. To me, someone "under the radar" is a person who is there, but their name never comes up. So they get to the end by keeping quiet, and going along with the majority. Lydia's name has come up EVERY WEEK since the 2nd 3rd or 4th week. yet, she managed to escape being voted off. She is obviously doing something right in the game.

Cindy is the definition of "under the radar" I didn't even know her name until 3 weeks ago.

Im not so sure Cindy likes being under the radar. She has been unhappy when she was left out of decisions the others made on who to vote out. I just dont care for Lydia period. I didnt like the "poor me" way she acted a couple of shows back when Cindy won reward and took Rafe with her. Part of the game is being a good loser when you lose and Cindy has been.

when Judd won his wife he picked Cindy and saif something like "with out her my wife would not be here" did anyone catch that? what did that mean????

and what is Steph always eating? She was eating in every shot of her last night!!!

I think Lydia has done more then we have seen and play harder then we have seen. look how she talked to Judd last night!! what does bug me about her is that her hair does not move! How can it still look like that after no shower/shampoo for 30 some days???

Danni had to use her brains to win immunity - if she had of used it at the wrong time she might have paid for nothing.
I think Danni used it at a good time - she had herself blocked in and then switched with the 1 person who had the most open space.

Ha ha, jeff basically told her to when change, "steph has carved out a nice piece of real estate, Dani and ? are working in the same section" or close enough, then it was Dani's turn and she asked to change with steph.

Didn't you all see steph's face, she as so mad at Jeff's comment, knowing that dani had that switch card. I was shocked he would make that comment when he did, as it was telling dani if you don't switch now you are out, she only had two extra squares at the end.

By moving better in her section, before the switch, she might have been able to emlinate the other player leaving her with enough squares, but instead she chose to switch due to Jeff's comments. and the switch became her move, so she didn't have to take a square for that round, but once the switch happened steph still had to take a square in the same round.

Cindy passed over her money, as the bidding had already gone over the amount she had, so she insured that Judd could out bid Steph. So that is why he chose Cindy's sister for the visit.

Cindy gave the rest of her money to Judd, which helped him win.

Yes I did and frankly I'm not liking the change to Jeff trying to influence the game.

I'm not one of those people who believes the game is fixed, but I am starting to believe they are doing more influencing with Jeff's involvement and what challanges and twists are implemented.

I disagree that Lydia has been riding coat tails. She does a good job of stirring things up when she has to, and still coming out sweet and innocent. That is master game play.

ITA. I like Lydia a lot. She knows when to stir things up and she knows when to suck up. She also pulls her weight around camp. I am not so sure that she would lose if she's in the final two.

That is exactly what I said!!

Being a proud "Jersey Girl", I *cringe* every time Judd opens his mouth and speaks. :scared:

I think that Lydia accidently got Judd voted off. I think she was just trying to figure out if she was being voted off and was offering up her vote to Judd (to vote with him) , Danni overheard and used this information to her advantage (told Stephanie everything Judd said).

I just hope Danni wins. She is the only one that seems to enjoy the game. I think her wave at her brother showed how strong mentally she is. She did not need the external help; she has enough strength to depend only on herself. And considering how she is now without allies, I think she handled things very well.

Maybe she didn't need his help, but she did need the sandwich's help. Girl is seriously skinny!!!

I hope she wins, too (and not just because I picked her in our Survivor pool).

Well Judd was really stupid for choosing Steph. He had to choose Cindy because she gave him money. He chose Steph for his last reward. He should have been more diplomatic and chosen someone else. Even if he is good buddies with Steph, he should have given someone else a chance.

That's a good point. Lydia wasn't trying to get Judd to flip, it was more like she was letting him know that he could use her vote, so he'd keep her around. I think Judd should have clammed up in front of Danni, but he's a blowhard and he wasn't really doing much out of line, either. It was clever of Danni to turn it into a little scandal.

Very smart!

DW said that he chose Steph because she was the only other person there that could have, ummm..., a "conjugal" visit.
