Survivor Cambodia (Second Chances)

What I want to know is when the tribes split in 3 what if Kelly is sent to a different beach.....didn't she bury her hidden immunity idol?? How would she get it back?! Surely she wouldn't be carrying it in her bag to the challenge!?!

good point!! First of all how dumb to bury the idol. Second I'm sre if she gets sent somewhere else she will lose it.

Most of the contestants hide the idol in camp because they know that your bags are fair game and people go through them all of the time.

I d don't remember anyone hiding an idol in past season. Most of them carry them with them. It's only been one season I can remember anyone seeing the idol.

I was glad Shirin was voted out and not Spencer, but I agree with others that I wish it would have been Abi. I couldn't believe people actually wanted her on the show again.

Not sure burying the idol was a good idea. I know people go through bags, so why not keep it tucked in your bra or something? If she has to go to another place on the island she'll probably lose it.

I wish they would have an actual reward challenge instead of combining it with the immunity challenge.

I would love to see Wigglesworth win it this time.

I remember a few people hiding them in the past but can't remember the specifics.

I did find this from Jeff

I get this question a lot when surprise tribe switches happen so I pass that question on to you, sir: Since contestants like Keith don’t carry around their hidden immunity idols with them and instead leave them back at their old camp, how do they get it when they get swapped over to a different tribe? Is it returned to them along with any other items they left back at their previous beach?

Great question. Depends on the situation. If you took your idol out of your bag and “hid” it under a rock and left without it, then the rules of Survivor don’t allow for any “help” for you to get it back. So, in that sense, it is your responsibility to have it with you. But if you left it in your personal bag and just didn’t bring your bag with you, then yes, we always move all of their personal items (clothes, water container, bag, etc) to their new island. So if you had it with your possessions, you are fine; if you hid it, you are not. We always remind the players at the start of the game of one big idea: Survivor is unpredictable. No matter how well you know it, you can’t be certain that it is going to go the way you think it is — so be prepared at all times.

I've heard through a "reliable" source that there are multiple tribe switches this season :smokin:

I like Woo - I'm hoping it's Kelley Wentworth and Woo at the end!

Abi needs to go next, no matter which tribe she winds up on. I mean, how stupid are, you? You have the entire tribe behind you, and you go and spill the beans to those about to be blindsided?

I certainly find it interesting that, as Jeff pointed out, some people are finding themselves in the same position as last time. Hope Spencer can figure things out with his new tribe.

And with splitting into three tribes, I hope they go to three new camps. Otherwise, the one that has to build a shelter will be behind everyone else.

Sorry PG is gone wish it would have been Abi. I don't even know who voted her back on she is just a mean girl. Don't know how she turns everything away from her nastiness and on to other people. But she does and does a good job at it. I don't like the 3 tribe thing as you don't see much of the other tribes only the one going to tribal. Wish the show was longer with less commercials as I feel we are missing alot. I gotta give Tasha credit for turning things around she did the same thing on her season. Wish we would have seen more of the "rat" thing. I'm glad that Jeremy found the idol. I read on another site that people saw him get it but I don't know how. I thought he was pretty clever with the way he grabbed it.

I can't stand Abby and I really don't like Jeff Varner. I find this season so far to be drawn out and boring. The one challenge thing stinks, to much seeing mindless babble at camps now rather than seeing two challenges!

See, I am the opposite. I don't really like the challenges, I like to see all the strategy and social play back at camp. I feel like we miss out on so much. I agree with its hard to follow all the tribes when it is a 3 tribe format, but I understand why they did it with this type of a group of returning players. Nothing is more boring than seeing a power majority run the tables until the end, at least this way it keeps switching up the alliances. Not to mention, I am sure there were a lot of pregame mergers since a lot of these players have relationships outside of the show.

Can't stand Abi, but I did chuckle when she pointed out to Woo that he'd voted for her twice. Ouch! And I don't necessarily dislike Woo.

Also glad (very glad) Jeremy got the idol and that Savage & Tasha were able to survive the swap. The tribe swap has always been my least favorite part of Survivor because no matter how well you're playing the game, someone is going to be naturally screwed just due to numbers.

I hope Woo finds a way to survive and Abi is the next to go. I'm glad Jeremy found the idol too.

I've had enough of Abi. :headache: She's just so nasty all the time. She's the only one so far that I really don't like. I didnt like her last time either though.

DH and I must be the only people who don't care for Woo. He is Jeff Spicoli Jr. to us. Sweet, but not remotely smart. He goes on and on about loyalty, but fails to realize that "loyalty" constantly changes on this show, sometimes from one minute to another. Abi remarking to him that he's written her name down twice tells me she will now turn her crazy vengeance eyes on Woo. If he has even one brain cell in his head and ANY sense of self preservation, he will head her off at the pass. She has to be one of the top "crazy as a loon" players the show has ever seen.

Think so too. As soon as she said that, I said out loud "Oh, dude. You're going to get it now!"

Also liked the way Jeremy got the Idol, thought he did a good job of selling it as just a part of the challenge to be there.

I'm not a fan of Woo either. I was in the other season he was on but now not so much. I don't remember Abi from her other season but she is growing on me. I love seeing her tell someone that she is not going to vote for them. Let's see which alliance she'll make next week.

I think they do 1 challenge in the beginning because there is so much going on back on the beaches. They need to get all that into the show so once the cast dwindles down they'll do the 2 challenges again.
