Survivor All Star OFFICIAL THREAD!

I think if the tribemates all realize Rob has made alliances with everybody they each must think their alliance is the "true" one and the others have been told things to just string them along.

I almost felt sorry for Shi-Ann at the start of the show tonight when she was talking about being all alone, and again because her mom seemed so nice. But by the end of the show I was thinking go already. She's so full of herself.

So tell me guys..........I need to know............

Is Shi-Ann out???? I can't wait till Tuesday to find out:(

I was really hoping she was going this week, but she pulled off that darn Immunity & was so full of herself (sickening). Thought she was oh so smart.

That, so turned me off her for good.

So, please tell me............did she go?

Please let it be ::yes::

SPOILER...........................................

Your wish has come true. Shii-Ann was voted out 5-1 tonight. Her vote was for Amber. She preached to them at Tribal Council about how she was going to cast her vote for the power player who was going to sneak up on them and win the game.

I thought tonight was a fairly interesting episode. But, they must be running out of creative juices for challenges- these were both repeats...I know a couple of survivors ago, they had the loved ones eating the grody stuff...and I know I have seen that fire/water bucket challenge before too. I'm glad Tom won- kind of funny to see the 4 "players" run out of matches. I admire Shii Ann for stirring things up before she left- Amber looked mighty sheepish leaving tribal. Although others think Shii Ann is too cocky or know-it-all, she is no more so than Boston Rob; I thought she played very well at the end, and exited graciously.

I can't wait to see next week and what it is that Rupert and Jenna are discussing regarding Rob. I thought Shii Ann was excellent in pointing out that she doesn't understand why neither team of 2 approached her and Tom to boot one of the other team's players off...very good point! She can't be the only one who sees this!

I was glad to see Shii-Ann go, but I also thought it was her best episode. She said a lot of great things at tribal council. The challenges were repeats, they have been using challenges from past shows and changing them a little. The food challenge seeemed just the same to me, but the fire one was a little different. The next few shows will be very interesting.

At the beginning of this season I read an article that said all of the challenges this year would be repeats of past challenges but that they would be kicked up a notch for the All-Stars. The theory was that since these were contestants from past years they would bring back challenges from past years as well.

Poss Spoiler!!

Any one else from a city where one of the finalists live are they all pushing the last how as much?

Heres why I ask.

I think Amber is going to go all the way, she lives outside of pittsburgh and the local radio station is going all out for the last show. They are putting a bus together to go up to NY and stated today they will be broadcasting live outside Monday morning!!!

Also last time when Jenna M they sort of let that slip so people in Pgh had a good idea that she was the one.

I missed the first half of the show yesterday and the reward challenge. I get the basic idea - they had loved ones eating gross foods. Can anyone tell me if anything interesting happened during it (i.e. puking) and who did end up winning?

I loved the clip where Rob tells Amber "we've got a problem".

While I have disliked Shii Ann from Day One, she impressed me last night. She knew she was going and there was nothing she could about it, so she decided to open her mouth and lay it all out for everybody to see. I'm sure much more was said at Tribal Council than we saw, but they showed 2 critical things Shii Ann said:

(1) the fact that no one from the Rob/Amber or Rupert/Jenna alliance approached her or Tom as "swing" votes. Now that they're down to only 5, Rob/Amber and Rupert/Jenna will HAVE to start courting Tom's vote.

(2) when Shii Ann said she was casting her vote for the player who was going to surprise them all by winning, and she voted for Amber. Now Rob will be thinking that maybe Amber isn't quite as loyal as he thinks she is - did Shii Ann overhear Amber talking to someone else? Might also get Rupert/Jenna thinking that maybe they can get Amber over to their side.

And now that they're down to only 5 players, everyone has to start playing for themselves and forgetting alliances.

Anyone who gets a change to watch The Morning Show----please post what Shii Ann had to say. This should be interesting!

Ahhh..makes sense now! Thanks for the info!

I was glad to see ShiiAnn go. She was very annoying. I hope Rupert can pull it together and go all the way!

My favorite part was actually before the challenge officially started. I actually had tears in my eyes when Rupert's wife came out. They look so in love! :lovestruc  I thought Jeff was going to have to dump water on them to break them up. His wife was climbing up his body at one point. :earseek:

I liked Big Tom's explanation of why he picked Rob and his brother to join them instead of Rupert and his wife: he didn't think he could watch them slobber on each other anymore! :crazy2:

Early Show breakdown please....from anyone who could watch! (stuck here in an office on a beautiful day!)

To answer one person's question, Big Tom's son won the reward challenge. And then Big Tom was told he could choose one survivor with their relative to join him at Chaboga's? old camp. He chose Rob and his brother.

I've been in the minority. I've always liked Shii Ann, in both seasons.

Saw her on the Early Show. She really didn't say alot. She said that she had a strong alliance with Kathy that didn't come out in the show.

One caller asked her how she would have done things differently since she played both games the same. She said that she played them differently. That in the first game she was out spoken and in the second she was more under the radar which got her farther.

I can't remember if the host or a caller asked her about Alicia. But she said that she had no beef with Alicia.

Shii Ann also said that Rob was #1 on her list to get rid of even before the merge. The host asked her why the others didn't get rid of Rob when they had the chance. She said that with his history from the previous game he played, she didn't understand why his tribe members would keep him on. She said that apparently his "voo doo" is working. That everyone thinks that they have an alliance with him and must be content to be at the bottom of the totem pole, 4th and 5th.

She said that she really tried to get them to see logic but she can only lead a horse to water, she can't make it drink.

You did not miss a thing. It was the most boring interview of all. If I come across a transcript I will post ot for you.

Thanks for all the info Kirby. Oops - and whoever told me about Rupert and his wife. (Sorry - don't have your name since I'm editing my post)

Rupert just breaks my heart -- big and gruff, but such an emotional guy on the inside. I thought he was going to lose it when his wife came out.

I honestly would like anyone but Jenna to win at this point.

The previews made it look like Rupert makes a serious mistake next week. He is shown saying that Rob overhears him saying something, presumably something he did not want Rob to hear. I can only hope this is just another incidence of misdirection.
