I'm convinced Rob will win this thing. They've had opportunity after opportunity to vote him out and they haven't. How any of them can think Rob will stick with them over Amber is ridiculous. They all know Rob and Amber are a couple, yet they think he'll pick them (Rupert and Tom for example) over Amber. I don't get it

But I do have to point out that I don't mind Rob is still there, he is good to look at

Finally- something to shake up the game just a wee bit! Yay Shii-Ann for sticking it out!

I also don't get why Rupert let all those people have pick for the food before Tom. I thought they were tight; guess not. I would like to see Tom, Rupert, Amber & Shiiann in final four. I can hope for a miracle, right? I like Rob- I find him entertaining to watch, but he has way too much control right now and he needs to be brought down a notch or two.

I have to agree. I was glad ShiAnn won immunity too and I have not been a big fan of hers.
I thought Jenna seemed especially rude to her after she won.

I figured it would be Alicia to go - after all, they all voted her least deserving to be an all-star.

I have been wanting Rob to get voted off right from the beginning, but I don't know now. I don't think it would be nearly as interesting without him. DO NOT want him to win the $$$ though!

If they would of thought about it . . . . They should of voted off Amber, because then it would crush Rob and they would be able to get rid of him next!

Think about it . . . they would of hurt him in his heart and crush that man! But noooooooo, they took off the Alicia! Also, you heard Amber to Shi-Ann about turning on Rob. Can't trust anyone.

Looks like Jenna is crawling under Rupert's skin next week. Rupert & Tom could take it next week if they stick with Shi-Ann. Jenna would be the swing vote!

Just my theory . . . . . big Tom is flying very low and is working in Stealth mode . . . . no song & no dance from him lately . . . guess it's because Rupert drank all the beer last night.

Even though the previews show Rupert getting annoyed with Jenna, I think he is too honorable to turn on her now.

And...did anyone see how Tom voted? He voted against Alicia, didn't he? And he was talking to her that day about how they need to stick together. Shouldn't she have hard feeling against him, too? Ah - but no handshake.

Rob has talked for several weeks that he considers himself to have an alliance of four with Rupert and Jenna. But when they get to five (assuming Shii-Ann goes), I think he (and Ambuh) better think hard about wooing Tom, because what's to stop the other two from deciding to turn on them at that point?

They really are stupid. Rob should have been voted off last night. Hopefully, Shiiann will go next week. She's just too annoying for words. I want to see Rob, Amber, Rupert and Tom in the final 4. I want Rupert to go all the way.

I love this Survivor. I love Boston Rob & I think he is going to win the million. He has played the game the best. He's been the best in the challenges & he has been the best at working everyone. He is playing the game. I think the final two will be Rob & Amber & Rob will win easily. I think the only people who will vote for Amber will be Lex (because he's a big baby) and Jenna. JMHO!

I think keeping Rob around is a very smart move. He keeps ticking everyone off whose going to be on the jury. So, if emotions play into the final decision then whoever is up against Rob in the final 2 will take it.

BUT....if they vote by who actually played the game, then it should go to Rob.

Does anyone know yet what Alicia said????I missed it too, but it sounded good!

"Well somebody turned and I'll find out who it is. "

Not as exciting as i had hoped! LOL

Alicia's stated at the end that it would be very hard for Rob to get her vote.

Saw her on the Early Show but missed the first part, only saw the phone in questions.

One person asked her why she wouldn't listen to ShiAnn and form an alliance with her. She said that ShiAnn wasn't coming to her for an alliance but just to spread rumors. She didn't want to listen to rumors but if ShiAnn had approached her with an alliance, she would have been more than willing to listen.

The other caller asked if it was harder on her physically or mentally. She said she could handle anything physical, but dealing mentally with the other players was hard.

Did anyone see the first part?

You know, since most of the tribe doesn't seem to care for ShiAnn, do you think that Rob might consider keeping her around hoping that if he and she went to the final two, he might get the vote because of their dislike of her?

I don't see Rupert voting against Rob because once he gives his word he stands by it or always has in the past. Maybe he will surprise us.

I have to disagree with people on this point: I think if Rob is in the final two, he will take the million for sure, and I think Lex, Kathy, et. al. will vote for him to get it. It happens on every survivor. The "bad" guy votes out people, and those voted out vow to stick it to the "bad" guy in the end. Then, when the "bad " guy is in the final two, the jury always says, "well, he played the game the best so I had to vote for him to win." I think it somehow justifies to the jury that they weren't responsible for their own loss....the other guy just did better by playing "bad."

Anyone else think this?


By the way, Rob has been playing the game well. At this point he deserves to win if he makes it to the final 2. I really hope that Rupert and/or Tom get there instead, though.

Saw this on another board and wondered if anyone else noticed it. When Alicia was on The Early Show she said "Remember, I promised to never write Rob's name down." Was she hinting at the fact that Rob is one of the final two and she did not write his name down as winner?

I thought it was an interesting idea.

Good analysis Tinks. This is only my second Survivor, so I did not realize that people often vote for the " Bad Guy". But the way you explained it, I can see it happening.

Unfortunately, I agree also Tinks. Remember on the Amazon and how much Christy hated Jenna and swore the neither she (nor Heidi) would EVER get her vote, even called them "witches" or something like that. Lo and behold, even Jeff Probst couldn't believe that Christy ended up voting for Jenna over Matthew. It also is how Richard Hatch won. Susan called Richard a snake and Kelly a rat, but said in nature the snake eats the rat. Everyone else agreed and Richard won.

I thought Alicia said she *knew* who it was rather than she'd find out. But it was hard to hear.

I enjoyed this episode. Was glad it wasn't Rupert going home.

As for the food -- did anyone go back and check? I *think* what Rupert did was throw Shii-ann to the last of the list so she'd have the rice, but otherwise he did it in the order they were knocked out of the reward. Wasn't Tom the first to go from reward? That meant he got picked last for food. That's my thought, anyway, though I didn't go back and check.

I also agree -- if Rob gets to the final 2, he'll take it. And he deserves it based on what I've seen. I may not like him or how he's playing, but he *is* playing the game very well.

Tinks' theory is sometimes true. Obviously not always, or else we wouldn't have had Ethan, Vesepia and Tina as winners.
