Survivor 32- Beauty vs Brains vs Brawn

Ok -so my DH noticed that every time Debbie does one of her mini-interviews, they show a different occupation: waitress, electronics, chemist, a "something " captain, model etc.

I did not notice this, am totally surprised he did.

I find Debbie entertaining, and equally annoying. So I hope she gets far, but does not win.

She has done lots of modelling.

As for Peter. Did you all see his final words? He actually seems like a nice guy who is just utterly and completely socially clueless...like he has no idea how to read social clues. He should have stuck with Julia and Scot and Tai but the FBI guy was all apologetic so he swung back to their (FBI and Aubry's) side not grasping that he would ALWAYS be at the bottom of the brains group.
Oh and Debby (the model) wants to get rid of Jason...ha! Wished they had lost then. And Scot shooting the baskets...he almost was beat by Nick (the Greek God). I was so happy to see him losing...#winning, more like #barely.

I have to admit, I found Debbie less annoying and more entertaining last night. I had noticed the different "occupation" tags, which was adding to my amusement. I agree that she might go far, she appears harmless to her tribemates--but I'm sure she'd go all honey badger on them if need be, ha ha.

I wasn't sorry to see Peter go. He just seemed so clueless about how to play the social game of Survivor. He might be a great guy, in his regular life, but he just didn't seem to fit in, and didn't know how to change that.

I think Peter will spend the rest of his life assuming he's the smartest guy in the room, and will just about always be wrong in that assumption.

My hope for him is that he'll watch the show, and see just how others react to his arrogance. Perhaps it will be an opportunity for some personal growth. I'm sure he's a talented doctor, but I shudder to imagine his bedside manner. If he learns some humility from this experience, it will probably be a huge help to his patients.

And I'm starting to really love Debbie. I think that two thirds of what she says is tongue in cheek, and the other people on the show are just too close to see it.

We haven't heard much from Jason in the last couple episodes, since his new tribe has not been to tribal council, but did anyone catch his quote in the coming scenes? It was something along the lines of "It's like stuffing nerds into lockers." I don't think that will help his bullying image much...

I agree with you about Peter but not Debbie. I think she is giving Phil Sheppard a run for his money as the biggest bs artist who actually believes what they are saying.

Well, he's arrogant, pompous, and condescending for starters. And those are his good points.
That pretty much says it all!

My DW said last night, "wasn't she a chemist last week?" I said the same thing, it keeps changing. Remember the scene last night where the girl walking into the water after losing challenge and Debbie said something about watching her so she didn't drown herself? I looked at DW and told her, "that's alright, Debbie is probably a lifeguard too!" :lmao::lmao:

This is actually a nice picture of her.

She has a really strange swim suit. She would of been better off with a Nike Swim suit, the swimming suits beach volleyball players wear. Her suit reminds me of an old man, that wears suspenders to keep their pants uo.

We noticed a couple of weeks ago how they keep changing Debbie's occupation. We crack up every time. Not sure they have repeated one yet. :rotfl:

Just about everytime she starts talking I feel like I'm listening to Phil Sheppard again. They are very alike.
And we are loving the monikers that the producers are giving her during her interviews. Highly entertaining to see what is next. The Debbie-Model one stuck out last night. Does she seem like someone who could have done years of modelling?

I've been noticing this every single week. Totally cracks me up. Last night's "part time model" seriously had me laughing out loud! Production is really having fun with Debbie at her expense, lol.

ROFL!! Production totally blew that one. They should have immediately cut to an interview with Debbie and put up "Lifeguard" as her occupation.
