I agree with you. It's one thing to like Russell, but some of the posters here take it to a different level. For example, thinking that he can win a challenge whenever he thinks he needs to. Or not recognizing all of the times that Russell has misread people or stayed in the game simply because of luck that he had nothing to do with. (Let's face it, everybody needs some luck to get far in this game, not the least of which is having the good fortune to be on the tribe that has the majority after the merge.)
I stand by my opinion that, whatever strengths he might have, Russell cannot be considered one of the best players ever unless and until he shows that he can get jurors to vote for him. If he wins this season, I will admit that I was wrong. But, unless they have dramatically manipulated what they show on TV and in the Ponderosa videos, I don't see where Russell is going to get the minimum of 3 votes he needs to survive in the final 3.
Wow,I've never been called a "worshipper" before.

I do feel that Russell is a very good player. That opinion is based partly on watching him play the game and partly on reading Jeff's blog. Jeff has repeatedly stated Russell is one of the best players to play Survivor. Since he sees much more than we ever will, I put much more faith in Jeff than anything I've read on this board.
