I know all about snack options, fruit stands, and where to find salads and sandwiches. For the most part we eat a healthy diet, but we do tend to eat way more junk than normal on vacation. I really enjoy the many treats at WDW, and in general prefer to snack all day as opposed to big sit down meals.

We have ressies for Chef Mickey's dinner, Crystal Palace Breakfast, Donald's Breakfast, Stitch's Breakfast, TRex, House of Blues, Garden Grove character dinner, Coral Reef, 50's Prime Time, Le Cellier, Trail's End dinner, and Chefs de France. We'll be at WDW 14 nights.

The problem is that we have been dining out and indulging a lot this summer already. We are not only traveling a lot for swim meets this summer, but ds is playing travel lacrosse, as well. We dine out with the teams after swim meets and after lax tournaments. Its all adding up. I feel stuffed all the time now!!

We had a huge Japanese hibachi meal this afternoon and I can't even consider dinner. I am seriously thinking that I need a break from eating while on vacation! Seriously, I am thinking of cancelling half of our ressies and just focusing on snacks and small meals while we are at WDW.

Am I nuts? Maybe I'll feel differently in the morning after I've metabolized my Japanese lunch!

Since we usually go to WDW in Sept and it's still hot, we don't tend to overeat. Even on the DDP we try to not get stuffed. That's why my DM and I will frequently share a meal. Since we don't eat dessert at home when we eat out sharing an entree and dessert works for us.

With the exception of the buffets you could opt for an appetizer or salad and maybe a dessert, or share a entree.

Maybe you could cancel your buffet meals, and then just have soup/salad at your favorite TS restaurants. Or try sharing entrees.

I know what you mean about eating out. We look forward to enjoying the DDP, but in a way, it's a relief to get home again and back to real food.

We only eat "linner" when we go to WDW. We have a club level room so eating a small breakfast in the morning, a sit down meal in the late afternoon and a snack at night is plenty for us. Especially when it's so hot outside.

On my last trip to WDW, I did the DxDP and was concerned about being stuffed, but I just made sure to pace myself and it wasn't an issue (for me, anyway). Given that it looks like you have less than 1 TS scheduled per day, I don't think that your current reservations are overkill. You could always cancel them mid-trip if you find you'd rather wing it.

YOu know, I am the same way. A couple of years ago, after about 4 days of all that eating WDW food, I saw a woman and her family eating their picnic food under some shade. I really wanted to go up to that woman, smack her and take her bologna sandwich and chips before she realized what happened. I was dying for just regular old food.

Our meals at the World consist of the following:

-Breakfast at the hotel
-Lunch: One turkey leg and one coke split between us.
-Dinner: Usually another turkey leg and coke, or DH will get a dinner and I'll grab a salad or appetizer.

DH eats about three mickey head bars throughout the day. I usually munch on some goldfish crackers I bring to the parks. This keeps us full, but not stuffed.

I know what you mean about getting stuffed and wanting "real food" after being on vacation a while.

We usually camp, so the majority of our meals are home-cooked anyway, with an occasional, special WDW meal thrown in. I don't really feel deprived that we're missing out on sit-down meals -- most of the snacks and small meals around the World are fabulous themselves!
