It was essentially gathering data on park use and board use. However, the demographic area contained the single/married question with no option for those of us who are married, but don't have that marriage recognized by law.
So, do you answer married, when you are pretty certain the survey writer meant traditionally married with benefit of law, or do you disregard your union and answer single?
Given that this board is supposed to be owned by an out gay man, the question was particularly offensive in that one would have (obviously incorrectly) expected to see inclusivity in the survey and not stereotyping.
Having designed a number of surveys, overall I found this one quite simplistic and not comprehensive enough to gather information that will be of good use in the long run.
However, they forgot to check with me first.
The only interesting part was the closing area that allowed you to provide qualitative data, and use your own words to offer information.
