I have also seen special plasters for blisters which are supposed to be like a second skin. I think it's called Compeed. I have seen reference by Americans to something called moleskin which sounds similar. These are not supposed to come off easily or bunch up like normal plasters. Very useful for a blister on a heel if you need to cover it, a normal plaster would not stay in place.

Anyone ever used Compeed? I have seen them in sports shops and Boots (Pharmacy).

COMFORTABLE SHOES!! can't believe i'm saying that at age 20! but being a student i tend not to walk very far (between bars) and WDW can really take it outta you especially if you have an expedition from the bus stop to your room!!

and don't take a coat, took one last time and never used it, strange i know - and it took up room for all my shopping

Zoe - I bought some Compeed blister plasters last year (one of my "just in case" items ), but never had the need to use them.

Because of this, I'd be tempted to wait till you get out there and get some of their moleskin versions, cheaper over there too

I have always worn comfortable shoes, even as a teenager I wore rubber soled lace up leather shoes (normally in a bright colour!). I have have quite wide feet and have never "got on" with shoes with more than a one-inch heel as I would end up with squashed toes and blisters!

I have been known to occasionally get a blister if my feet haven't been able to breathe properly and have walked a long way in what are normally comfortable shoes. Love the idea of being well prepared for anything!
