Survey Virgin :) Couple of ??

Good Morning!!

I have been posting on the Budget Board, but realized that that was probably the wrong place!

Hi everyone, my name is Andrea, and I AM a survey virgin

OK, quick back round:
Just started posting on Dis..LOVE IT
And LOVE the budget boards!
Trip is in 2 months with my sweet hubby thats coming home from overseas and my 2 kids...16 and 17...so I am trying to earn as much as possible in 2 months!

I have been a survey taking fool for the last 24 hours lol...I am a 'little' confused though:

When you 'think' your at the end end of a survey, it seems like it goes right into another one. So I am afraid if I don't keep going, I won't get the credit...know what I mean? The one I just did said 'your almost done last step'...and then after that it just kept going and going...until I finally just x'ed out lol

On SR, after I take the surveys it still says NO in the Completed column. Does this take a few days to update as well as the credit for it?

Question are these "surveys" on the offer page or on the daily survey page? The "surveys" on the offer page tend to do that and I go as far as I can and then will x out as well. Sometimes I get credit and sometimes I don't. They are kind of a crap shoot.

The daily surveys on the daily survey page you take once every 24 hours and I have been getting credit with in 48 hours of doing them. Note the time you do one so that way you can go back the next day at that time and do another. They only give you credit for one survey every 24 hours.

What sites are you doing? Maybe we can help you do some quick offers to build up some credit.

Oh and it usually takes a few days for Tricia at SR to get the info from the advertisers so it won't update automatically.

My main focus right now is SR and MP

Geez...just those two are keeping me busy. I just signed up for both of them and although I have done a lot, only 2.08 is showing in SR and 285 points in MP.

I plan on hitting them both really hard tonight and tomorrow morning again!

unless you do alot of online shopping Mypoints will take a while to build up based on emails and free trials. Plus their cash out options aren't as good as they use to be. I don't do them too hard anymore. Just when they have a shopping site I use with more points than my other sites.

Give QR a whirl when the site is back up and running. The $$ adds up pretty quickly and they credit you very fast.

On SR I just learned how to change your email address as often as I like. You might want to create a gmail account that is very long like disneyshopper2007@gmail.com because you can set up gmail to let you also do d.isneyshopper2007 and move the period behind each letter and number so that you get 17 different emails out of it (using example above). Then you can go back and change your email every few weeks on these reward sites and get credited more often. When you do different sites though I'd come up with 2 separate gmails - one for each site so you can do the same survey on each site.
