Survey Spot $15!!

I got an email yesterday for a $15 survey. I got to the end and had to put in my personal info (name, address, etc) so I'm assuming that I qualified!

Was that the wireless phone service survey? I did not provide my wireless number, but gave my address info at the end to claim the $15 - at least I think that's what I understood. You could earn additional $ by providing your wireless information for a study (confidential they claim), but I wasn't keen on that idea.

Yep, that's the one. The funny thing is they changed questions halfway through and I didn't have to give them my phone #, just my info at the end.

I did that survey too and did not give them my wireless phone number. They did ask for my address and stuff though. That would be great if we get the $15!

Have you received your check from Survey Spot for this survey?

I haven't, so I went back to their website to check my info and it tells me my email address in no longer active. :cofused: I hope I didn't unsuscribe because I like Survey Spot. I know I've opted out of some other surveys because it was beginning to be too many for me to manage.
I've tried re-registering, but I haven't gotten their email with a password yet.

Usually I save emails with password information, in case it's something other than what I've keyed. I don't have any emails from Survey Spot, including the one for this particular survey.

It seems like I only get the ones that you are put into a drawing for. No real money offered so I never do them. Do you do them and that is why you were offered the $15? Lucky!!!

I've gotten a check from them once. This one seemed more like a paid survey rather than being entered in to a drawing.

My concern was that I could not log in to Survey Spot's website with my ID and password. I got an error that my account no longer existed. I don't recall unsubscribing, but it is possible that I opted out of something else not realizing it was Survey Spot. I tried twice to reregister and hadn't gotten an email to validate myself as a member.

No and I am done with survey spot. They sent me the same email that you got for the survey and I finshed it and filled out the info. Never got any respones. Also I filled out a survey for steak and Shake and was promised $5 that I never recieved and I emailed them twice about it with only the we'll look into it response. Then I got a email and quaified for a home study and got a follow up that I would be recieving the follow up survey that never came. Went to log into the site it said I didn't exsite. Well I knew I did so I emailed them stating that I never unsubsribed and asked what happened and only got that I could go and subsribe at their web site. Not what really happened. So I am done with them Sham operation in my view and I won't do it again. But if you do happen to get your $15 let me know it would be nice to know that not everyone was taken.

From Survey Spot's FAQ:

Q: How do I get my prize or payment?
You will be notified by e-mail after the survey is closed, usually 6 - 8 weeks after you've taken a survey.

Six weeks has just lapsed and we're not quite to eight weeks, so I guess the possibility of payment still exisits. We'll see.

Sunbeamblue2002 - see my posts above. I too had trouble logging in to Survey Spot but after a few days was able to get in to the site with my regualr email and password.

My records show that I earned/requested a $15 check from them on Feb. 6. Don't remember what it was for. But I did receive my check on April 3.

We appreciate your patience regarding this study. To recap the details
of this study, you were invited to participate in a unique one-year
project. The goal of the research was to understand billing and usage
requirements pertaining to your wireless service for one complete 12 month
period. If you qualified you would be paid upon being entered into
this project, and then again at the end of the full year of your
participation. Qualifications for this project were defined as follows:


1. You have a cellular phone with a wireless service provider that has a website with your account specifics including usage and billing information available.

2. You provided your full name and address.

3. You provided your cellular telephone number

4. You are registered with your wireless service providers website
to view account information and can make payments.

5. You provided your username and password to your wireless service providers website so your cellualr usage information could be captured,but personal information such as bank accounts or credit card numbers was not to be viewed or otbained for this project. This was an important part of qualifying for this project, if you did not provide your username and password you did not qualify. Your wireless usage information was a critical element in this research project.


At this point in time, the survey sponsor does not show that you have
met all of these requirments. If you feel you qualified for all the
criteria listed above please let us know.

We want your experience in the SurveySpot panel to be enjoyable. We
thank you again for your patience, while we spent extra time to review the details of this very unique and important project. As always your opinions count and there will be future opportunities to win and receive cash rewards for your participation.

Also I have tried 3 different time to log onto the web site and it says I am not valid in there group and I know that I didn't unsubscribe myself and this is the third survey that said I was due money and have never received anything so I am truly done with Survey Spot in my view its a sham. But I do hope that the rest of you do get what you were promised.

Okay - they wanted way to much personal information for this survey, IMO. I know I didn't give them all they wanted so that probably discounted me as a qualifier. Oh Well I guess.

As for not being able to log in - Have you emailed Survey Spot? When I had an issue and couldn't log in I sent them an email and shortly thereafter was able to log in. I don't recall their response, but there was some sort of techincal "glitch" causing the problem.

Yes I emailed them 3x and each time got a bolow off canned message saying I was welcomed to join at anytime. But I know that I never did unsubscribe so I'm just done with it all from them. But thanks for the advice.
