Tickets and such have to be negotiated with the Ticket division. I would not imagine they would do anything with Universal.

i think the poster meant universal as in one fast pass for all rides / attractions, not for the park universal...

DVC in general - I like DVC's point system, and I like the ability to book home resort at 11 months and others at 7
AP discount
Free Internet for DVC members
Golf discount for DVC members

Dislikes:
Bus Service (not just a DVC problem) - we've had waits of 45 minutes to get on a bus this year (the first bus was already almost full, and only allowed about 5 people to squeeze in) This is really absurd for resorts that claim to be deluxe.

Housekeeping issues - rooms have sometimes not been ready when we're arrived even after 4, which is very, very hard on a family traveling with a infant. Even when we've gotten a room, they haven't always been clean. I think they just need to hire more housekeepers, even if it increases dues slightly.

Waitlist restrictions - would like to be able to request "any 1 bedroom on property", for example

Deevy See - mildly amusing, but mostly irritating and a little offensive. Not the image DVC should be going for.

I am really struggling to think of another dislike. There isn't much I can complain about. I am an overall very happy SSR owner. Things bug me like waiting too long for a bus, etc but those are very general and not specific to DVC.

-decreased home booking window to only 1 month
-decrease how far out one can make a ressie, maybe to 8 months
-make the 2nd BR a queen and set of bunks (with a trundle) so that different sex teens don't have to sleep together

I am confused by your changes which was something we were not discussing are these things you wish for.

Why would you want to decrease your home booking window?

-No merchadise for each Hotel. I wanted to collect something from ea. hotel we stay at.
-Cost per point is getting to high.
-Sofa beds are horrible at BWV and AK Jambo House.

Wish:

That BWV rooms would look like the BW INN rooms I am jealous of that. I want the 2 beds and sofa and the writing desk, and YES even the quilt looks sooo much better.

Well, our first DVC trip is in 2 weeks. So, I don't really have any experience to speak of except for having booked this first DVC trip. I am really excited to be staying in a deluxe resort for the first time. I was disappointed when I read that we don't have daily housekeeping. My kids love the "towel art" and if I am paying toward "ownership" of timeshare I would expect to have at least the same service as when we paid out of pocket for each trip.

After reading the previous posts I am also disappointed to learn that there really isn't much DVC merch. to buy. Again, I am proud to finally be a DVC owner and want to be able to show it. (I hope that doesn't sound bad!! LOL)

I also wish that there was a better discount for the DDP. Especially when they are offering free dining!!!!

I like the suggestions others have had about a special DVC free refillable mug.

I am really enjoying the fact that we haven't even gone on this trip yet and we are already thinking of planning the next one!!! How awesome is that? Planning is such a huge part of the fun of Disney.

Finally, I do like that there are more options than just the WDW resorts. That was a huge selling point for us. As our kids get older we will want some variety in our vacations. Although our hearts will always be at WDW!!!!!

Dislikes: no more real "quiet" pool, not enforcing rules that they do have, BWV crowded buses or sometimes no bus coming in mornings, not very good perks, most are offered or better offers with other options, AP, TIW, visa etc. DeeVee Cee and the Disney Files as others have said what a waste of money.

The majority of timeshares do not provide daily housekeeping without additional fees. I'm not sure if any do, actually...I've read about a few providing fresh towels daily. This is one of the differences between timeshares and hotels. You can, however, pay OOP for extra housekeeping while staying on DVC points, if you like. This way MFs are not higher for everyone since not all members want daily housekeeping. Congratulations on your first DVC stay!

Pre schedule FP's, gonna get them anway-just make it easier.

Build a 5th park and have a new DVC next to it.

Build a 21 and older resort that's 1/2 DVC on the monorail just outside EPCOT and include a walkway to EPCOT.

My biggest "like" is that over time we will be staying in a 2BR villa for close to what we were paying for a discounted deluxe room through CRO. I would be perfectly happy staying at moderate resorts, but that does not work well with three kids. We have outgrown the POR-AB rooms and even the larger deluxe rooms that sleep five are not desirable for more than a few nights now. Once I realized that at least some of the time we would be paying cash to stay on site at deluxe resorts, buying DVC through resale made a lot of sense.

AP discount
free internet for stays using points
spacious villas and verandahs at OKW

Dislikes:

This is not just DVC related, but I think too often WDW allows guests to be inconvenienced in order to avoid confronting guests who are not following the rules and being inconsiderate.

Wishes:

I don't think it will ever happen, but I would love a DVC dining discount everywhere. Even just a CS discount would be nice.

- 4-month window for banking all points; it used to, I could bank a small amount of leftover points closer to end of UY

Likes:
Walking from BWV to Epcot and Studios
Sitting on Veranda at BW and being able to see the fireworks at MK.
Every DVC resort is just wonderful and unique.

Walking to MK from BLT

Dislikes:
Pool hogs and screaming at BWV quiet pool.
Kids using the hot tub at BLT as their personal swimming pool and lifeguards ignoring complaints about it, and even worse, parents no where to be seen.
Not DVC related, but irritating line cutters at the parks and nothing being done about it

Wishes:
Somehow squeezing a 1/2 bath into BWV 1 bedrooms.
Some kind of counter service at BWV (i.e. not having to go over to B/W bakery)....although I did notice some pre-wrapped sammies at Libations.
That mousekeeping would keep a strict inventory for before and after check-in and check out and then charge the offenders (but probably hard to prove unless everyone has to sign an inventory check list when arriving at room). I have been appalled at the items people remove from the room (frying pans, pot holders, etc.).

LOVE LOVE my DVC. Pulled out all stops and am heading for hawaii in winter. Depleted my cushion of points.

Oh...2 more dislikes:
The "Welcome Home" meetings. I preferred the way it used to be, more of a question and answer forum, in the mornings, with coffee and danish. I don't quite get the whole DeeVeeCee and game show thing. Do like winning stuff, though.
