I was at the counter of my local Disney store with my wife when I mentioned the DVC Discount. The nice woman next to us said she was a DVC Member too... we talked a bit about the DVC when I mentioned "I read alot about Disney online on bulletin boards"... she asked which do I use... when I said the DIS, she told me she was DVCREG a moderator for the DVC board!!!!

I was so excited I jumped up and down!! she must have thought I was nuts! I knew her name immediately we had Emailed info back and forth and shared threads many times... We chatted a bit on how much info people can get on the DIS, what a great resource it is, some of the other DISers we've talked to and of course LIME GREEN RIBBONS.....
She told us how beautiful the BCV's are and it made our upcomming trip in April oh so exciting!!

As my wife and I walked away I kept asking her: "Did I really jump up and down?" I felt like I met a celebrity! Not only a fellow DISer, but a Moderator, and one that I spoke to on the boards before... and right in my own back-yard (funny it was in a Disney Store).

That was a great experience, ... a little Disney magic right at my local Disney Store!

Regina is great. We had the pleasure of meeting up with her and her husband at Epcot during our recent trip. Nice people.

Isn't it amazing where and how you find DVC'ers. My DH and I went up to Milwaukee last week for an Irish Fest Celtic Christmas Bazaar. They have an Irish American music archives there and when we toured it we were talking to the gentleman who started it. He noticed we were wearing our DVC windbreakers and we got into a discussion on DVC as he and his family are DVC members as well. Small world!

My ears always perk up when I hear "DVC" mentioned.

It's always fun to meet another member, and it's doubly nice when they're DISers. :D :D

After we met, I went off on my 5 day oddysey visiting colleges with my youngest DD. 1030 miles later, I'm back and still smiling over meeting NandP.

And you didn't jump all that high.;) ;) ;)

How fun! I found out my PCP is a DVC member and his wife is on the DIS. (mostly in lurker land) How cool is that! So whenever I am at the doctor, have to have a quick DVC Disney chat :)

It is so fun to put the face with the name!! I have had the pleasure on Disney Cruises with sail away parties, Millenium celebration on NYE 2000 at BWV and in the parks with ribbons, at Turtle Crawl at OKW, at the weekly DVC meetings at the resort, in lines etc. We are a large group with a hugh membership. Just wear a little lime green ribbon on your fanny pack and make alot of new friends!! Hi to all the great Dis'ers I have met over the years.

My wife's OB/GYN is a fellow DVC owner and since my wife is pregnant I am sure we will have a discussion about our most recent trip.

That is a cool story.
Sometime it is truly scary when you think about what a small world we live in.

It truly is a small world. Can't believe I'll be there in 8 days!!! Glad you are so happy with life's small pleasures. That's what makes it fun N.!!! From your fellow New Windsorite...
