Just had to share with people who understand. Dh and I were going to go for a quick trip for marathon weekend. We figured that since it was going to be a short trip, we would go alone and take the kids next fall. This will be my first full marathon, and we'll be celebrating our 14y anniversary that week.
I kept telling dh that it would be fun to surprise the girls. We just spent 5 nights at HH alone, and realized that we really missed them. So dh surprised me and called MS and was able to change our reservations to get a 1bd std view at Kidani. We will extend our trip to a full week and will bring the girls with. Sadly we had to waitlist the first 2 nights. Wish us some pixie dust.
Our plan is to pick up the kids from school and surprise them!!
