So here is a little background, me, dh, ds (almost 8) and dd (6) are going to be staying at BWV from December 19th thru 26th then going on the NYE 7 day cruise :cool1:

DH & I have arranged for their step brothers (22 and 26) to fly in on xmas eve and also stay at BWV and then come on the cruise with us.

Our 2 have no idea what we have planned, we have dinner booked for all of us at the flying fish and I was thinking about having the boys preseated at our table when we arrive. But have discounted that idea since the kids haven't seen their brothers for about 9 mths or so (they live in the UK) and i'm sure the excitement and general noise would be disturbing to other people and unwelcomed - not to mention that they like everyone in the party to be present at the time of seating.

So I was wondering where else would be a good idea, I was perhaps thinking of by the surrey bike rental a good 30 mins before our reservation so they can get all the excitement out of the way and then settle down and enjoy dinner, or perhaps I should get the boys to come to our villa and knock on the door almost as if room service.

what do you think?

TIA

K.

Have them come to your villa and surprise the kids. When they open the door they'll be in shock.

That will be so cool, what a great surprise!!

I like the knocking on the door idea. Or if you want to do it away from your room, how about having the boys sitting on the BWV deck area overlooking the "green" and Flying FIsh area. Any way you do it will be a fun surprise!

My vote is for the knock on the door with the kids answering the door. I hope you have a wonderful time! pixiedust:

What a brilliant suprise, must admit I like to the knock on the door idea, can you imagine their faces when they open the door to see their brothers - wearing Santa hats!!

...and you can all make as much noise as you like.

Hope you all have a brilliant time

I love this idea.:santa:

I also love the idea of knocking on the door. We did something similar this summer to surprise our two sons (not younger like yours, but, 20 and 28) and the surprise was two close cousins who live on the West Coast and our boys hadn't seen for over a year. It was difficult because DH and I picked the cousins up at the airport, but, our 28 yr old doesn't live with us and the 20 yr old does and we needed to pull off the surprise at two locations. It worked beautifully though and they were unbelievably surprised..........
