I know there maybe tons of posts on this subject but I can't find them. We are surprising our 7 year old grandson with a trip to Disney World. I want to send letters for a month or 2 in advance with little clues. I am not very arsty nor am I imaginative. I was looking to steal someone's idea of having already done this. It's really important to me to make this trip very special to him. If anyone has any advice or ideas please let me know. I would forever appreciate it. You can reach me at mcloutier1@cogeco.ca

How about cut out the letters to spell out "We're going to DisneyWorld", brush them with glue/gluestick and shake glitter on them..then mail him a few letter at a time in the weeks leading up. Howfar in advance of the trip are you planning to tell him. Will this be extra special because you live far from each other? Its such a lovely thing to take him but even more so to surprise him :)

When I first took my daughter we told here we were camping in the everglades. We went with another family and we acted if we were lost and asking directions at the resort. It worked.

Create a puzzle! You can drop into a word document, a photo of disneyworld and type over the picture " You're going to DisneyWorld". Print it large paste it on cardstock and cut out into puzzle pieces. Send him a piece or two at a time, with the "disney world" pieces last.
