surprises and book for preschooler

We are taking our son to Disney World Next month. I wanted to get a book about disney world, the parks, rides, characters, etc.. to read and look through with him so he will be familar with things when we arrive. I want something with lots of pictures... something fun. There is a book Disney for Kids by Kids. Anyone know anything about it?

I want to make the trip really special. Do you have any other suggestions to generate excitement before the big trip. We are going for his fourth birthday. I would appreciate any ideas to add excitement before or during the trip. THANKS!

I bought this book and my 16 month old spends hours paging through it looking at the pictures and having me tell her the characters' names. It's written in a very kid friendly manner. For adults I am a big fan of the Unofficial guide, but the By Kids For Kids is great for the young ones!

Be sure to hit your local dollar tree/dollar store to pick up plenty of glow sticks and small bottles of bubbles - some to keep your son occupied when waiting in line or for fireworks - and some to play tinkerbell with - my son started spreading the magic at about 3 1/2 and always looks forward to it - it's so cute to see him get joy from making others happy!
