Now, I'm plenty sure this goes down as one of my funniest moments ever. To preface this story, let me state that this Thursday (the first of March) is my Birthday.

I have always been obsessed with Disneyland (no need to say that to you people, as my very posting is evidence on the subject). So, I was ecstatic to hear that we may have been going for my Aunt's 50th Birthday in Fall of 2005. After months of pressuring my Uncle, he finally books it (Concierge floor of the Grand Californian) and we go for the weekend of October 21(?). It was fun, but leaving was quite hard.

I have not been to Disneyland since and it has driven me mad. So, imagine my surprise when I learn that my sister has a volleyball tournament at the American Sports Center in Anaheim. I am thus promised a golden 4-day Park Hopper Pass. Now, this trip marks the first time I've stayed at a Good Neighbor (Radisson Maingate). I truly don't care, because I know I won't spend too much time in the room.

I then finally make ground on convincing my friends to come on a Disneyland trip after our Grad. I have tentative dates set for May 29-31, to stay at the Ramada Inn Maingate.

So, awesome! Two times within a couple months span!

However, my parents are racking their brains trying to come up with something that I would desire for my eighteenth birthday this Thursday.

So, they question me late last Friday night. "Do you want to go to Disneyland next weekend?"

My jaw drops. Not because this is a wonderful surprise, but because realism sets in. Are we seriously trying to book a trip to Disneyland one week in advance?

Well, my quick sleuthing provided us with exactly what we needed: a vacancy on the Concierge floor of the Grand Californian. Take that! :lmao:

The room is booked and we are on a 7:45 flight out of San Jose, CA, on Saturday morning. I am thrilled! :mickeyjum

So, March 3rd and 4th... How bad are the crowds?

Hi
Happy Birthday!!!
I don't have any info on the crowds for you but you might want to consider getting an annual pass if you have 3 trips planned in the next 3 months.

Who cares, you lucky duck!!

I honestly don't know how bad the crowds are at that time. I would assume not too bad, though. How totally fun! What a nice birthday present.
