SURPRISE!.......You forgot the WHAT!? A November 1st-11th 2012 TR* BIG UPDATE!!2/3

I missed this update!!!

I love that paddle. Right now I would use it as a fly swatter. Being on a dairy farm the fly count is high around here lately.

We tried 'Ohanas breakfast for the first time this year. It was better than dinner, but I still wasn't super impressed with the food. But we did have a nice time.

I missed updates. Luvin all the pics. I love O'Hana mainly for Stitch :goodvibes

Thanks! Kadence thinks Stitch is awesome, (I think it's the naughtiness she admires!) but the food is pretty good.

Getting caught up on your last couple of updates. Cape May dinner looks pretty good, that just might make my list for our next trip. The pic of John and Kadence walking away from you toward the YC/BC lighthouse is a really nice shot.

My BIL and SIL went to the Ohana breakfast on their Feb trip, they enjoyed it and got some great character interaction for their two little guys. I'm not crazy about Stitch but he is a cute in person character. Love the pics with Pluto. :lovestruc

I Love that garden in Canada! I got pics of it the last 2 times I was there. Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure it's been there all along but I never even noticed it before my 2010 trip, and as you can see by my sig, I have been down Lots of times. LOL Funny how you see something new every trip.

We've got Cape May for our next trip too! Thanks, they think why take a picture of our backs, I say just walk!:rotfl2:

I think Ohana has turned into a every trip tradition. Pluto was a bit more sassy this time around, and Kadence loved it!

The cottage in there is just so cute. I could live there!

haha, those lip balms are awesome. I'm going to have to go into that gift shop next time. So...what do they actually smell like? :rotfl:

:lmao: I think one is Cherry, and I think one is like a mint. Sam is a chap stick queen, so it was a perfect gift.

I got behind, but all caught up now! :woohoo: Your DHS day looked like fun, I just love Sci-Fi, and a visit to the Epcot resort area is always great!

'Ohana's breakfast always looks so fun! It's so rare to find Lilo anymore!

DHS is tied with MK for our fav park. Sci Fi is another ADR that made it into our next trip too. Kadence loves it.

The last time we seen Lilo in park was in AK in 2011. She's a sweet character.

I am a trying to be like you, and major updater!:rotfl: I'm almost caught up with you, another 20 or so pages and I'm good!::yes::

Well from what I remember from farm life, the flies are probably big enough to carry that paddle away!

I've wanted to try Ohana for dinner, but I keep hearing such negative reviews. I think we will stick with breakfast. My favorite is the potatoes.

So off we go from the shop in Canada, back to our journey of the World.

Next stop, the UK!
Another stop at another phone booth, I may fear future phone bills with this one!

DSC08932.jpg

Like her shirt? I found it at Wal-Mart just a few days before we left home. I thought it fit the theme of the day well.

We came up to the Agent P game, (formally Kim Possible) and Kadence was all excited to do it. They told us it would only take about 30 mins, but it ended up taking almost an hour.

DSC08943.jpg

Also, it takes you back and forth all over the UK area, (you can play in other areas of the World Showcase as well, it just depends on where you start your game)

DSC08944.jpg

We had to really pay attention to the phone communicator closely, as it wasn’t very loud, and some of the clues made you think a second. Some of the stops along the way were very interactive when you came to them; others were just a way to get another clue.

DSC08945.jpg

We helped Agent P once again foil Dr Doffinschmitz.

We had a noon ADR and soon we rushed back to Canada to Le Cellier!
I was looking forward to this. We hadn’t eaten there before, and I had heard very good things. I wasn’t ready to drop 2 DP credits on it for dinner, but lunch was just one (now lunch is 2 credits) and I wanted to taste that much talked about Cheddar Cheese soup!
We checked in right at noon, and only waited for a few mins before we were called back. First off, it was so dark in there! Maybe it was because I had been out in the bright sunshine, but I walked right into a post/wall. LOL
Thankfully, I don’t think many saw me, and I made it to my seat in one piece. We were given out drinks and a basket of breads. OH MY! I love the pretzel breadsticks! MMmmmmmm, so good!

DSC08955.jpg

John isn’t a bread eater so he let me have both! I ate the first one so fast, I had to check to see I still had fingers! I saved the second to eat with the soup!
With a kid’s meal on the DP, they get an appetizer. Well Kadence wasn’t going to eat soup or salad, and I didn’t want to order a full bowl with my meal as an extra, so I just planned to have her soup. It was pretty darn good! I wish now I had ordered a bowl, as John tasted it and liked it too. Dipping the breadstick in the soup was perfect!

DSC08956.jpg

Soon out orders were coming out. I had the Wild Mushroom Filet Mignon Le Cellier “Signature Dish” served with Wild Mushroom Risotto and White Truffle Butter Sauce

DSC08957.jpg

SOOOOOOO GOOD! One of the best meals I’d had in a restaurant. EVER!

John had the Le Cellier House Burger Roasted Mushrooms, Smoked Bacon, Maple Barbecue, Black Diamond Cheddar, crispy Onions, and French Fries.

DSC08958.jpg

He really enjoyed it and it was huge!

Kadence had the kid’s meal selection of Elbow Pasta with Ground Turkey Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese

DSC08959.jpg

It was ok, she ate the sauce and cheese and some of the noodles. She was more excited about desert.
She and I both got the Chocolate Moose. Her moose came bearing a Birthday greeting.

DSC08962.jpg

Kadence liked it, and I thought it was a bit rich for me, but it was very good.

John got the Maple Crème Brulée. He said it was fine, but he’d had better

DSC08964.jpg

I’m glad we had the lunch portions. We were stuffed! Dinner would have been too much and food would have gone uneaten

Back outside to walk off our meal. The food and Wine festival was going on but since we had just eaten a huge meal so our plan was not the take that in, but to go check out the Boardwalk area. I had seen a lot of TR’s about the Boardwalk and we had never taken the time to get over there.
So we headed over to the international Gateway. While walking along Kadence screamed, all because of this little lizard. LOL She’s not a country girl folks.

DSC08968.jpg

We kept on with our stroll.

First stop, John’s choice ESPN.

DSC08979.jpg

Had to check out the Green Bay Packers gear.

DSC08980.jpg

Cat Cora’s place. Story, My youngest sister’s husband’s brother is a executive chef in California, and his wife is as well, who once was a sou chef for Cat Cora. The fact I’ve never met the brother’s wife means I have no connection to Cat Cora, other than knowledge of the story. LOL

Once done with that, I finally got a picture of this! Ive tried many times only to get a crappy shot. Check!

DSC09015.jpg

All that walking finally caught up with us and a snack was needed. Another first today, our very first Mickey Bar!

DSC09016.jpg

Mmm Mmm Good!

DSC09017.jpg

Kadence spotted Chip and Dale with no line! Woo Hoo!

We had some time to waste, John was planning on seeing a Eat to the Beat concert that night, and Kadence and I had some 5:30 FP for Soarin to use. So I think we just wandered around, checked out the Food and Wine Festival Center, which wasnt interesting for us. I think we sat and people watched for a while.

DSC09024.jpg

Kadence wanted a picture by the Fountain.

DSC09022.jpg

Soon it was time to use our FPs

DSC09027.jpg

and John headed off to see his concert. It took a long time to get on Soarin, but we finally flew over the Orange Groves for the 2nd time this day.
It had gotten dark while we inside, so I tried to take a few night shots.

DSC09028.jpg

DSC09031.jpg

I like this one.

DSC09033.jpg

Then Kadence and I headed to the bus stop to go back to the hotel for the night. John enjoyed his concert and was back to the hotel about an hour after us.
It had been a long day with lots of walking, so sleep quickly overtook us quickly. Good thing though, the next day was Early Morning Hours at Magic Kingdom, which we planned to take full advantage of!

No wonder ya'll were tired by the end of the day! You guys covered some ground both inside Epcot and out. And, you had a delicious lunch and a Mickey ice cream bar for a snack. Nothin' better than that!

Luvin all the updates. I miss Florida. :(

Oh wow, those pretzel breadsticks look so good!

Love that you checked out the Packer stuff at the ESPN Club. :thumbsup2

Man, those Boardwalk pictures make me want to go back there so bad! Atleast I only have to wait 36 more days until I'm back! :cool1:

Great updates!

Caught up. Jus to let you know, one of yur pictures is missing the ] and only showing as a code.
I can't believe that was your first Mickey bar! What did you think? I love them. I think they tast extra good because of the shape.
We were not that impressed with Le Cellier, but my parents liked it better than me. But we had the salty issue. I keep hearing it is a problem off and on so something is up with them.
I won't be going there at 2 credit though, so not going to give it another chance.
I haven't been over to the boardwalk in the daytime....another thing I need to do. I just walked through quickly before.

Oh yeah, it was a lotta walking! but I'm glad we did it. We never before took time to check out other resorts or areas.
Lunch was great, but I'm sad it's 2 credits now. We were lucky to experience it.
Nothing beats a Mickey bar!

I love your updates but I want to see a recent photo of your dd in her frames

I'll get one up soon, I've been very busy with family and Kadence's softball, and home projects.

Luvin all the updates. I miss Florida. :(

Thanks! Me too.

They were yumm-O! True Packer fans must check out the merch!;)

YAY for you going back so soon! I'm glad we spent some time there, I believe your Boardwalk photos are the first to inspire me to visit the area!

YUM. I'm so sad Le Cellier is now 2 credits for lunch and dinner. Some day!

Me too, lunch should have stayed 1 to allow everyone a chance to experience it.

Great update! :)

Thanks!:goodvibes

Thanks! I need to just delete it because I think I deleted part of the code. :confused3

It was a good Mickey Bar! The shape is the reason!::yes:: I know you are a big Mickey bar supporter, and every time I seen them on your TR's I'd think I gotta get one! We just never took the time to slow down and eat the Mickey bar before. Thank goodness someone influenced us to extend our trip a long time ago!:lmao:
I was thinking of your review of Le Cellier while we were there! I was really hoping it wasn't salty. I do not salt my food normally so I would have really noticed if it was. I must have gotten lucky and gotten a good day!
John's only complaint was too little fries.
2 credits= no more for us!

I'm glad we did it. Now my goal is to get to Beaches and Cream!:hyper:

Hey Carey! So glad you're getting a chance to get moving on your TR just in time to finish up and go back! :cool1: Now if only I would get moving on mine again....... First things first. To catch up over here!

I love your idea of changing room decorations from Halloween to Christmas! I MUST do this one year!

We have that same Santa Mickey head light up. And so did 6 other people in the building across from us! But I'd bring it again. It's one of my favorites. So welcoming to come back to after a day in the parks. One of the things I'll miss when we head to DLR this year is the ability to decorate my window. Well, I guess I could, but I don't think we'll be anywhere we could see it well walking up at the end of the day.

I had no idea about the P&F experience at DTD. SO cool. And the photo they did was really awesome.

Gotta love that empty queue at TSMM!

Too funny on finding Waldo. You should have tapped him on the shoulder and told him adult costumes were not allowed during regular park hours. ;)

I LOVE this shot! I had no idea Ralph was only there part of the time. I guess we just lucky and wandered up when he was there. So glad you got lucky too!

Too funny that John and Kadence won't ride RnR or ToT but would pose for photos in front of them! :lmao:

What an ODD duck story. Katie would LOVE it! :rotfl2: But she has a thing for ducks.

Tell me you're not serious....... your FIRST Mickey bar? Oh my.... how did we let that happen. Here..... have another. :mickeybar

Just finding your trip report and wanted to thank you for the great pics of AoA. We just booked our 2014 trip for a LM room and can't wait!

Off to catch up on all your update.... :-)

Oh don't move to fast, I'm just getting back into the swing of this and I have a few other threads to look at before Nov!

I love your idea of changing room decorations from Halloween to Christmas! I MUST do this one year!

Kadence loved doing it, and I thought it would be fun.

We have that same Santa Mickey head light up. And so did 6 other people in the building across from us! But I'd bring it again. It's one of my favorites. Mickey will be coming back with us in Nov! I didn't see any this time around, but I did get the idea from you!

I had no idea about the P&F experience at DTD. SO cool. And the photo they did was really awesome.

It was only there for a limited time, like a month. I only knew because I saw it on a FB post

Gotta love that empty queue at TSMM!

And I ran no one over to get there!:lmao:

Too funny on finding Waldo. You should have tapped him on the shoulder and told him adult costumes were not allowed during regular park hours. ;)

I wonder if anything was said, or since it wasn't a Disney character no one cared?

I LOVE this shot! I had no idea Ralph was only there part of the time. I guess we just lucky and wandered up when he was there. So glad you got lucky too!

I was so sweating him leaving when I heard he needed a break! Kadence loves the pictures from this meet.

Too funny that John and Kadence won't ride RnR or ToT but would pose for photos in front of them! :lmao:

I think it makes then think they are cool or something!:rotfl2:

What an ODD duck story. Katie would LOVE it! :rotfl2: But she has a thing for ducks.

:thumbsup2

Tell me you're not serious....... your FIRST Mickey bar? Oh my.... how did we let that happen. Here..... have another. :mickeybar

Thanks! I know, I feel like i should have stood up an admitted it in shame!

I could use it with the heat wave we are going to get!

Just finding your trip report and wanted to thank you for the great pics of AoA. We just booked our 2014 trip for a LM room and can't wait!

Off to catch up on all your update.... :-)

:welcome: I thought it was so well themed, the Cars area is my favorite. I'm sure you will have an awesome time!

I hope you enjoy!:goodvibes

November 6th

On to our first full Magic Kingdom day! Early Morning Hours were speaking to us, and we heeded its call!

First thing I noticed when I looked out the window……Rain. Blah. Quickly turned on the news, and seen it was just sprinkles that soon be gone within the next hour or two. I’ve got an umbrella and ponchos if it gets worse. We ate a quickie breakfast in the room and said Let’s GO!

The bus stop was pretty empty at 7am, the bus showed up and only handful of people got on. Once at MK it was the same, a few people just hanging out here and there.

Look at that sky!

DSC09035.jpg

Oooo, Look at the pretty Christmas decorations! Last time we’d been there it was for MNSSHP and it was totally Halloween. How fast it changes in just a few days!

Soon the Welcome Show began.

Then the CM’s stepped aside and in we went. I am so impressed by the Christmas décor. I think I may never visit WDW at any other time again!

DSC09056.jpg

No PP around yet, but that doesn’t stop Kadence from jumping in for a nice picture.

DSC09057.jpg

She was so excited to wear her new Rapunzel out fit on this day. I tried not to go crazy on the custom outfits (it helped greatly that a very kind friend borrowed Kadence some adorable outfits), but this was too cute to pass up. I pray it still fits for our next trip.
