I love the idea of surprising your kids with a trip to Disney. How do you ever manage to do it?? I ordered Grand Gathering t-shirts for my family as a surprise, and ended up telling them before the charge cleared my credit card! I would love to know how you keep it a secret!

I surprised my kids 2 years ago, when we went to IOA & Universal. I told them the day we were leaving so they could pack anything special that I had not thought of. I wanted them to finish school year and focus on school. I have one that would be sooo excited, she would not have done well with end of year tests. So it was the best solution. Their faces were in shock. We had a blast, and I did not have the "anxious" part to deal with , from the kids too.

I don't know I'm bad - I would end up blowing it!

HOWEVER - I have managed to keep the Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour & Family Magic Tour I have booked for me & the kids a surprise! Which is rather impressive since I have had the Family one booked since November!

I'm only good at "small" surprises! Oh I forgot, I have Guest of Honor badges for them too that is a surprise.

Good Luck! This is one reason I'm NOT one of those that does early Christmas shopping if I can help it.

Hi!

Oh My Gosh! Keeping a secret like this - I could never do it. I think it's fun but it's even more "funner" having the kids plan the trip and anticipate the upcoming adventure! :cool1: :flower: :moped:

I am taking my DS and my DBrthr & DSis to WDW in May as a High School Graduation present for my Dbrthr & Dsis. They don't know it yet. I want to tell them so bad but I also can't wait to see the look on their face. They have never been. I told DS because he heard me and DH talking about it. I bought Disney shirts for Dbrthr & Dsis and plan on wrapping them in boxes decorated in Disney paper. I am putting a note on their boxes saying, "you've just graduated from high school what are you going to do?" "Look in the box to find a clue" I can not wait. I am so excited.
