We enjoyed the Dapper Dan's and moved on to our original destination...Tomorrowland. Now that the parade was over it was so much easier to get there...and we didn't have to scramble through any more stores. It always costs me money when we scramble through stores.
We watched Monsters Inc. Laugh Factory again...and they picked me again...for the exact same "guess the number" part. It really must have been the lime green t-shirt I was wearing (go Disboards

). We rode Space Mountain (right side) again and jumped back on Buzz Lightyear. Elsa tolerated it with a good attitude so we were happy to treat her to a visit to the Fairies. They are polar opposites of the princesses. They were spunky, punky, loud, and flitted all around the room...and Elsa loved every moment of it!
I love when the camera captures wide-eyed wonder from my kids. The reality is minimum waged cast members...but all my kids see is pure magic.
This Fairy grabbed Pal Mickey from Michael and was immediately intrigued by why he was so heavy. I started explaining that PM has a sensor in his nose and picks up signals around the parks and gives out info about short lines, information of the attractions you are standing near, and much more. She was so amazed and totally broke character asking a whole bunch of questions about Pal Mickey. It was really cute.
She insisted on having Pal Mickey join us front and center for the picture:
We were starting to get hungry...and for Elsa that means only one thing at Disney...an opportunity for a turkey leg! Michael is never shy about letting you know how much he does not like them. We went back to Frontierland to get that turkey leg for Elsa. The whole time we walked there Michael made it clear he would not eat it...he doesn't like them...and stated that he would rather eat nothing than eat that terrible turkey leg. I assured him he wouldn't have to eat it and we would walk over to Casey's and get some good ol' American hot dogs for us.
There is a nice place for the kids to wait while ordering food at Casey's. The kids can sit on "bleachers" while watching "Casey at Bat" on a big screen. I ordered our food and what greets me on our way out? Michael eating the turkey leg.

Elsa didn't mind...and they ended up sharing it. Michael probably ate more than she did.
There was no spectromagic tonight so we sat down and waited for the stage show. It was a lovely time with the kids...we had good seats and just enjoyed the waiting together...
The show was great! I don't think I have ever seen it before...I think it's called Dream Along with Mickey.
When it ended, we rushed back over to Tomorrowland and rode (what else?) Buzz. Michael and I were looking for the big point targets...and we found a few this time! We rode it twice in a row and I was victorious with the highest score for the whole trip:
The day was ending and that meant only one thing...Wishes!!! We have always watched the show from the rose garden and we see everything at an angle...I wanted to see it straight on so we sat directly in front of the castle...we had a wonderful view of the castle:
A great view of the castle...but we could only see about 10% of the fireworks.

We were sitting way too close. I still enjoyed it but we will most likely watch it from the rose garden from now on...
It was all over too quickly. We slowly walked to the train station and tried to soak it all in. One last quick peek around the gift shop. I bought a special post card for each of the kids without them knowing. I wanted to send them to Michael and Elsa at home...I didn't want the magic to end.
We returned to the room and this was on our bed:
...and it was super clean. We got a super clean room for one night!
We started packing up and I called Airtran. They informed me that our airport was not on their "warning for closure" list. I checked our home town news on the internet and all they kept talking about was this impending storm.

Airtran said to call in the morning and make sure before we left the resort that the flight was still on.
I tucked Michael and Elsa into bed and requested a 5:30 wake up call...then all too soon day 6 was over.

5:30 came too quickly and much to our dismay all flights were a go. I hated leaving with that day still left on our Keys to the Kingdom. But leave we did. Magical Express was leaving our resort at 6:15 and it was great to be able to do our Airport check-in at the resort.
We were all set to board Magical Express but decided for one more picture for each of the kids.
M for Michael:
E for Elsa:
The ride to the airport was uneventful. We still dreamed of arriving at the airport only to find they couldn't fly us home, but alas we boarded the plane with tired feet and wonderful memories from our amazing trip.
Up LAST: A "wrapping it up" Final Post.
