"Surprise" Trip

I voted for BW but it all really depends on what you like to do and what you consider romantic. I love the ability to drink our way around the world at Epcot and not have far to get back "home" so any of the Epcot resorts are a great choice. BW has JellyRolls, which is a dueling piano bar that would make for a great date night. The close proximity to two parks is another perk of Epcot resorts.

If romantic means peace and quiet to you then I would opt for WL. Poly and any of the Epcot resorts are a little bit more hustle and bustle.

At the end of the day, whichever you choose will be great! The most important thing is you will be together and Disney is magical no matter what resort you go with!!

My first thought was Poly but after a little thinking I went with Boardwalk. The Boardwalk night area for me would add a nice touch.

I voted Boardwalk because of Food & Wine. Being able to stroll over in the evening is just way too easy.

I voted WL. It is a very relaxing resort and has the beach too. What we liked about it was you were near the MK, but when you returned you felt like you were out in the west staying at some national park. My DH & I rented bikes and traveled over to the barns where the Main St. horses are kept. It was really neat. There are a lot of families there with kids, but I'm thinking Poly has tons too. We're heading to the Poly this summer instead of the WL because we want the convenience of the monorail with the three kids. This time round we won't have any other family coming to help get the kids and strollers on & off of the boats/buses.

from Ocean Cty. NJ I voted for the BW CL. I am not a Poly or WL fan. Sorry. The BW has a lot to offer as far as things to do. Taking walks around the BW/YC/BC at night with your partner is .You can stroll on over to Epcot and walk around World showcase at night. I could go on but you get the idea. To me and my DH, this is why we love the Epcot resort area so much. I am sure no matter where you stay, you and your partner will have a wonderful time.

Oh and btw, your partner is very lucky to have you in their lives. Just to know that you are putting this much thought and effort into this trip will make it even more magical. Happy Planning.

I think I'm still at a conumdrum of where to stay. Poly is winning, but BW is a definite maybe.

I truly think no matter where you stay, you and your partner will have a fabulous time. This is what makes planning a Disney trip so great. All the wonderful choices that we have. Happy Planning.

This is all just my opinion, but....

I wouldn't pick the BW since your BF has already stayed there & this is to be a *special* trip. So to me your choice is really between the Poly and WL & I vote for the Poly. It's a beautiful resort & I think that going out to the beach at night is very romantic. Have a wonderful trip no matter what you choose
