Would love to surprise my mum and take her back to DLP in november for both our birthdays. mine is the 21st and her's is the 29th. Doesnt have to be any of those dates, maybe even the 2nd week of november.
Im trying to get it the cheapest way possible, dont really mind where we stay, but will have to be an on site hotel as mum isnt that good on her feet.
We will be flying from edinburgh or glasgow, looked at easy jet, can get flights for about £100 but the times are rubbish.
Do you think there will be a better offer after this 25% one finishes?

EDIT; been doing some serching and priceing differnt websites, disney are comming to roughly £1000 with flights and everything, but if i were to book with thomas cook, just the hotel and flights, then i would have to then get transfers, passes and insurance sorted, and that would come to roughly £1200 and this is just for 3 NIGHTS IN THE CHEYANNE!! Need some help from you fellow disser's. dont mind when we go, as long as its during the week in november and the cheapest way, as this trip that we're going on next week to Hotel new york cost £1200 so dont want to pay the same for a way chaper hotel if you know what i mean.
Plus would like to arrive in the morning, and leave in the afternoon, to make the most of the days

For around that time you can get really good flight times with AirFrance for roughly £150 per adult (dep Edinburgh 6:10am - arrive CDG 9:20am & dep CDG 8:25pm - arrive Edinburgh 9:30pm)

The Cheyenne is showing up for around £500 for 3 nights

VEA shuttle is showing at 72 euro for 2 adults (i've not checked the time table though, but from my last search from my family the TGV showed up around the same price if you need to travel out of VEA times)

So i'm getting £900ish from this search

Ive looked roughly for you.

Going out from edinburgh on the 21st (works out same price most mondays) with air france at 6.10am and arrive 9.20am and going back Thursday 24th 8.25pm and arrive back 9.30pm would be £286. For £60 cheaper you can get an earlier flight back around 3.30pm.

Cheyenne for 21st - 24th is £399 for basic room

Then transfers are roughly £65

So thats around £750 in total.

If you were to book now in the cheyenne and better offers come out like 40% off you could always change to a better hotel.

Hope this helps a bit.

Ohh that seems a good price. Is there anyway that you can give me links to the websites that you found these on?

When we went 2009 there were decorations up, Santa meet, an absoluely fab ice dance character show called mickey's winter wonderland, Belle's Christmas village, lots of christmas clad characters, a Christmas lights parade and lighting of the castle and the thing I loved most fake snow fell on main street every so often throughout the day :) That's just off the top of my head so in short I love Christmas at DLPR. I will miss going now DD is at school and we're tied to holidays as it gets very busy christmas season in the holidays so we're probably go at a different time of year.

Will be quiet mid November just a word of advice check when Armistice day is as its a european bank holiday and we had the misfortune it fell in the middle of our trip and that day was insanely busy.

Armistice Day is 11th November - and there are no fireworks at DLP during Christmas season, but there is an extra evening light parade - Fantillusion :goodvibes.

I use sky scanner for flights...it uses lots of websites to find the cheapest flights available. http://www.skyscanner.net/

The hotel was through disney direct, but you need to change the room to basic room as they seem to default to the expensive rooms now.

Hope this helps.
