:dance3: We just found out my husband will be traveling to Disney for a conference at the end of October and we decided to bring our three daughters (10,8,6) along...we just don't know how to tell them the big surprise! Any suggestions? Should we just wait until we are at the airport? I am so excited myself I can hardly contain it!:cool1:

How exciting:banana: I am surprising my DD10 and DD7 with a trip to Disney in 9 days:cool1: I was going to tell them at the airport but since the airport is over an hour away I did not want all the questions on where are we going or them screeming in the airport so I decided to tell them as soon as they get home from school with a scavenger hunt where they will collect different Disney items (Disney Dollors, park and resort maps, stuffed animals) and which will eventually lead them to my car which will be packed and contain a poster saying we are heading to Disneyworld, NOW! I plan on taping the entire hunt. Also now on our way to the airport we can talk about all the fun things we are going to do at Disney:woohoo: Whatever way you choose to share the news with your kids, they will be excited:yay: Good luck!

:welcome: to the DiS! don't have any advice just wanted to say "That is so exciting!! Hope you have a great trip!!! "
My aunt surprised her grandsons (8 & 9 yo) with a trip to Disney this past August. They didn't tell them where they were going, but the boys saw the luggage tags said AK since they were staying at the All Star Movies Resort near Animal Kingdom and so they thought they were going to Alaska! :rotfl:

That is a really cute idea! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
