Surprise Swap III ~ completed~

Susan - our package arrived today! I haven't had a chance to open it up yet but I"m sure everything looks great!

The redo pieces are all done.

This weekend, I worked on my two paper piecing groups, and you will all love them! Or you should My first idea, two different characters from the same movie, I was going to do one for each group. Then I decided that they really should go together. I also figured that AWM's boys might have a problem with them, so for my second idea, I am doing something definitely more for boys. It needs to be done in 2 parts (ride vehicle part, and then character part). I am done with the ride vehicle parts, and am going to cut out the character parts during MNF.

So Group A was going to get the girly pieces, and group B was going to get the boy pieces. Then I remembered that I think SusieStone only has a boy too. So....

If you are in group A but want a "boy" piece, or are in group B and want a "girl" piece, can you let me know. Otherwise, group A is getting girls and group B is getting boys, and if that is fine you don't have to tell me anything.

I am in group A and I have a boy but I myself am a girl (something I often have to remind DS6 and DH of) and do lots of things that are girly at Disney so assuming that it is something along those lines (I am forcing the boys to go to Norway for lunch this trip and I am always looking for Belle in that ballgown) then I am fine with whatever you send.

Not sure that says anything but I felt the need to respond! I really don't want you to go to any more trouble than you already are!

I'm in B for boy, so that works for me.
I also would have been fine with girlie things, because as missesdisney pointed out, I too am a girl. Which also gets lost in the house full of boys.

when we go to DLP we are staying in the Disneyland Hotel (yes boys, its PINK) having lunch at Auberge de Cendrillon (yes, with princesses) AND I am going to wear a tiara every day!

That was so nice of you to remember that I have a boy.....yep, there is nothing girllie about himm at all!

I am not being very creative for this one. I have done a lot of purchasing. I shopped online for my last five groups today. Hopefully, they will be here the beginning of next week and I can get it shipped out.

I have to get my Hope stuff bagged up and I have 2 cricut pieces to make for her.

Susie I am right there with you I had all these things planned out I wanted/want to make with my cricut but I am running out of daylight right now with work and its only going to get busier over the next couple of months until this new account settles in.

So much in fact after the recipe swap I'm in that will probably be my last one of this year so I can take a breather and concentrate on work without giving myself the guilt trip of choosing work over my swaps which is what I have had to do this week. By the time I get home I am so tired I don't even want to look at anything except the back of my eyelids.

Well, my first groups are store bought. I had tons of Jolee's left over from the paper bag swap. Why I thought I would need so many, I have no idea. But there was no way I need 3 each of all of them, so off they go to new homes.

I have Donald's boat cut and three are glued together. It still takes forever, even being bigger this time.

Need to figure out what I want to do for Christmas & Halloween.
