We woke fairly late for us and as we ate breakfast the children started squabbling. Little angels that they are. Sometimes we will leave them alone but based on their behaviour that day we decided that they would need to come with one of us. The plan for the day was that DH did some washing in the Hotel Cheyenne and I was going to do Garden tour. This is something that Disney was offering for the first time this summer and I was keen to go. Partly because I am interested in the parks generally and partly because there was a Limited edition pin that went with the tour. It was lightly raining as we got up and continued to do so all day. It was finally decided I would have the delight of the children and we set off.
DH dropped us off by the station and we went towards city hall. Part of the joy of this summers trip was that I already had the annual passes and each day as I waited for our bags to be checked I recalulated how much my pass had cost per day. (Sad aren't I?)
When we arrive at city hall there is a little problem, inspite of the fact I had booked the tour a couple of weeks before and confirmed it the previous day there was only a french guide. The guide who usually took the tours was in a meeting. Disney were very accomodating trying to find a way for us to do the tour in english but finally it was just easier to do it in french. As compensation for our inconvienence we were given a front of line pass for Buzz light year.

I understand a fair bit of french and I translated the interesting highlights for the children. We set off and wandered around the park. The tour was very interesting the guide was clearly a gardener and loved his job. DD felt once we had the pins we could go but I dragged them further along and by the end they were enjoying themselves. The tour took 2 hours and cost 8 euros.
After the tour we did some shopping. The children have a budget. DD thinks about what to buy very carefully looking in all shops and seriously comparing prices. She bought some clothes and a bag. DS buys monster figures in the King Ludwigs shop. After a little shopping and before we left the park for the DV we went to use our pass. You have to go to the exit and are taken right to the front of the queue. It is a really wonderful feeling and a shame you can't get them more often.
After shopping we passed by McDonalds and took food back to the cabin for lunch. We than went swimming and to Innoventions for dinner.

We could see the fireworks from the restaurant. After dinner we had coffee in the cafe Fantasia where e clearly confused the waiter. DH is Austrian and I am english and we live in Spain so we speak a mixture of these languages and I speak others. He could clearly not get a feel for where we came from as we talked he explaind that he was Morrocan and his wife was german and they live in france so we talked a while about multilinguism. After that we walked back to the car stopping only to have a quick look in the DLH shop, which is the hotel shop I like best.

:goodvibes Great photos and another great day. The garden tour sounds very interesting
