Surprise in the Skies?

The TofN Epcot parade thread got me thinking about this. I kind of remember some sort of show with daytime fireworks, and maybe some parachutes or something, above World Showcase. I don't think we knew it was going to happen, and we may have only seen the tail end after exiting a building. I think it would have been in the early 90's. Does anyone elso remember this show? Better yet, does anyone have any photos, or video? I remember being really impressed by the part I saw.

believe it or not --- I do. My father taped it years ago and I just recently found the video . I think it was called "Suprise in the Skies" . It was at Epcot and they also used kites. My mother who doesn't "like" Disney was heard in the video saying "WOW" so it must have been really good.

Mikey and some of the gang also were flying in the skies with a parachute type of plane. I don't know if they actually landed in the water with them-

It was in the early 90's. My father worked so hard video taping Disney--he is now deceased and left me and the kids a wonderful gift. We also have illuminations on video, SpectroMagic, Beauty and the Beast and the empty lot where the boardwalk now stands. I bought into DVC at the Boardwalk and then found the tape- It must be destiny.

Good to know I have some memory left. I would love to see the video. I should try and do a search online now that I know the name is correct. I think we saw it during April 1992. Was a big family trip Mom and Dad treated the kids and grandkids (only two grandkids at that time) We went again that December 1992, and the following November, and it wasn't there for those trips. It was a very impressive show, my guess is was hard to do, and more expensive then stuff on the ground.
