Surprise Ideas.

Hi all. I"m new here but I've been on many boards ... My dh is getting a trip to DL for Christmas. I've purchased the Tickets, reserved the Hotel (hojo) and we're getting a few things thrown in like a princess lunch early admittance, and a character breakfast. My dh used to work at the park and is a self certified Disney Freak. So anyways as amzing as it sounds. I"ve managed to do all this without his knowledge.


Now I need ideas of how to surprise him, on Christmas Morning. Any great ideas? He's going to be so excited but I want a GREAT presentation idea.

any ideas? I was thinking of doing a photo album with mickey on it... loading it up with maps and copies of the tickets and such.

I don't know if this would work for you but.... I think I'd make sort of a word chain and hang it on the Christmas tree... Put a star on the top of the tree and hang the words "when you wish upon a star.... " under that, hang a lanyard on the tree with the park tickets etc... in it. good idea?

Hi, this is my first time posting anything too. I have a couple ideas, I've read where you DH can receive a call from Mickey (or any other charater) on a specific day and time, you would have to call a certain disney phone number to set it up(I don't know the #, maybe someone else can help out with that). Also, there is a cool thread on fairy godmailers (sp?) I'm sure there is someone out there that would be nice to send DH a postcard from Disneyland. I hope this helps

Wrap a box with a card in it that says you want to play 20 questions with him.....give one clue on it...that it's a place.....

Have him figure out the surprise of where he's going!

Do a treasure hunt! Each one could be a clue until he gets to a big wrapped box at the end! I am so excited for you! That is such an amazing gift!

I don't know if someone answered your question yet but you can find a great thread regarding Fairy Godmailers in the Disney for Families Forum. Basically, those (fellow Disers) headed to a WDW offer to send a "personalized" Disney postcard to someone once they are in Florida.

So, your children could receive a postcard from Mickey saying "Can't wait to see you on Jan. 1"
