Surprise from Beach Club Today

Just when I was starting to worry about cutbacks due to the FTP's my doorbell went and it was the Fedex guy with a package from the Beach Club.

Inside was this card for my daughter Noel (DD9) ~ how sweet and totally unexpected.

On the front (not shown) there is a note saying "Noel ~ all your friends are waiting for your arrival"

That is awesome!!! Is this something they normally do for Guests at the Beach Club? Or Concierge guests? I think that is very cool. Was your daughter excited?

We received a similar surprise today, although it worried me a little! We originally booked 1 room at WL for August, but then as part of the FTP package, changed it to 2 rooms at CBR. We've since paid off the package and received the final confirmation, but today received a package from the general manager at WL telling us that he can't wait to see us at WL in August! After I recovered from my heart attack, I called the Disney Club reservation number and they suggested I just ignore the letter. Maybe, if my kids act up, I can leave them and DH at CBR and get my own room at WL! LOL!

LOL ~ she has not seen it yet ~ she is at a cottage with her Dad for a week and will be back on Sunday but I WAS EXCITED!

I have stayed concierge before and not received anything like this... I don't know why sometimes things happen and sometimes they don't

I am just going to accept it for what it is.. a magical surprise

I see you are at BC Concierge too, have you been dealing with Amy? she is awesome and is actually who sent this card for my DD.

Amy is wonderful. I am not surprised to hear the card was from her. I sent Amy (and two other women) a Cookie Bouquet after they handled all of my PSs for me. They were so patient as I made changes to our Itinerary. They have always answered my questions via e-mail promptly. I received back the nicest e-mail and a Thank you card in the mail.

I think you will be back before we get there on Sept. 3rd. I can't wait for a trip report!!

That card is addorable!! Im glad to hear your doing your reports daily as I cant wait to hear how your scavenger hunt with GOAL goes. I want to do something similar for my DD's 5th Birthday in November!

Jane from GOAL is great to work with - she custom made a hunt for Noel and called me long distance with details etc... and put up with my silly questions.. like

It is such a dose of Pixie dust when something like that happens! If it happened to everyone, every trip, it wouldnt be special!

I love getting the letters from the resort managers. I've kept every one and put them in the photo albums for those specific trips. I really need a life! I've never gotten a package though. What was in it? Any goodies?
