Surprise, but encompassing a few different elements

Hi everyone.

I know this is far away but I am just an over obsessive planner and have to get ideas in my head or I just can't seem to function

Here's the deal. We are taking the kids back to Disney world for Thanksgiving but it is also my son's 11th birthday. We really are going to try are hardest to keep it a secret until the morning we leave for the airport so I thought maybe some kind of design that I could put on a sweatshirt and I could set it out the night before and when they get up to goto school they will see the sweatshirts

I am so not creative so I thought maybe someone would have an idea that my incorporate a surpise, a celebration, Thanksgiving and flying off to the world. Is this even possible?

Also, on my DS's bday - I'd love for him to have a special bday shirt and the rest of us something to go along with this...


I ask here because for our 1st trip last year I got such wonderful DISigns. Not only did we have a great time wearing the t-shirts, but we got so many compliments on them. It was fun to be able to say "so and so on DIS designed them"

The only problem was I only thought about it about a month in advance and there were 14 of us so I was panicked trying to get them done. I figure if I ask well in advance this time, perhaps I'll actually be able to make them in spurts over the months.

if you don't get any assistance, let me know & I will do what I can. Howerver, I remember seeing someone doing shirts (maybe mel or joanne?) that had the birthday boy and then their relatives? I suggest you go a few pages back on this thread and look around, you will probably find all of what you are looking for already done. Also, look in everyone's photo bucket, flickr, etc. account. I know Natalie has tons of stuff in her account that can be modified. take care and good luck, Penny

I was going to recommend that you search out the Scrabble designs. They could easily incorporate many elements! Can't remember who did them but they were terrific......someone will know!

I was looking at Natalie's last nighht and completely forgot that I found the atrits Mickey head which is perfect for his birthday

THANKS SO MUCH for the link. I kept lookng and looking yesterday but couldn't find the scrabble thread. Will have to peruse that tonight after work!
