Howdy folks!
We just returned from a lovely trip to WDW on Monday night. We planned this trip just a few weeks ago and planned it as a surprise for our two kids. We were able to hold out on the secret until the night before we flew to Orlando - and needless to say our "cherubs" were surprised beyond belief and excited to go.
We arrived at BCV Friday mid-afternoon and were able to check-in right away. We had a studio on the 1st floor facing the woods next to Epcot (Rm #149). The room was absolutely delightful and everything was in working order. This was our first stay at BCV and we really enjoyed the resort and the close proximity to Epcot. The cast members were very nice and helpful. We ate at Beaches and Cream one night - what a good meal! The kids also loved Stormalong Bay - they didn't want to leave! We would definitely stay there again!
On a side note - we got a couple of chuckles at some of the pictures around the resort. We're from Cape May and noticed a lot of pictures from around town. When one enters the main entrance (near Ariel) and house picture on the left is the Abbey Bed and Breakfast and the one on the right is affectionately called the "Pink House". One of the pictures in the room itself is an artist rendition of Beach Avenue in Cape May. My husband got a good laugh from that. Actually, his response was "I travelled 1000 miles to look at pictures from home and streets I patrol everyday - go figure!". We enjoyed the familiarity of it all.
Can't wait until our next Disney fix!
