Woohoo!!! :woohoo::woohoo: Just booked a trip in Aug w/a FD pin, nobody in my family knows, and nobody will, including dh! LOL I'm friends with his boss, so I'll put in his vacation request for him.

I had to book it, my 2yo DD thinks Mickey lives upstairs, and is constantly calling him, so I had no choice!

Soooo excited but having nobody to talk to about it is KILLING ME!!!! LOL

Wow! That is going to be a surprise! Hope you guys have a wonderful time!

How exciting!! Will you tell them at some point beforehand, or try and get them there without them knowing where they are going?

I just booked our surprise August trip too....but my DH knows. I don't think I could stand not being able to bug him to death talking and obsessing about it. Our sons and our families don't know. My birthday is our first day there, and our son turns 4 our 3rd day there.

I'll tell DH once I've paid it off, his reason for never wanting to go is $$, so I'm doing it on the side out of household money.

I'm just going to tell the kids we're going to FL to see grandparents, all our family is in S FL. :cool1: Maybe when we hit the Orlando area I'll put in the planning DVD and see if they figure it out :)

My BF and her family are going as well, so at least I can talk and plan with her LOL

It's official, we are now a Grand Gathering, lol, usually we're a 'oh crap look at all those kids' it's nice to have a pleasant title for a change :lmao:

We have 6 first timers going, 3 birthday celebrations, one the day we leave the World, let the plans begin!!!!

In all we have 2 teenage boys (13 & 15), 2 preteen girls (11 & almost 11), two younger boys (7) a toddler (2, will turn 3 our last day) and 2 husbands who swear they can't stand Disney, but once mine gets there he turns into a 6yr old!

Soo excited!!!! :banana::dance3::banana::dance3:

That's awesome! I'm so excited for you:woohoo: I am also planning a surprise Aug/sept trip for my DD14 though it will just be the two of us since DBF just entered the Navy (yay he graduates boot camp in two weeks and I get to see him!) My daughter has no idea and it's a surprise birthday trip:banana: I can't stand holding it in and it's driving me nuts!!! She keeps mentioning how sad she is we arn't going this year(I told her we didn't have enough money...sneeky I know) So everytime she mentions it I just want to blurt it out:rotfl: We were at Whole Foods the other night at the bakery and she said looking at all the baked goods reminded her of WDW! OMG was it hard not to say anything at all:lmao: So I know your excitement/torture LOL ! I plan on video taping her when she finds out, I'm gonna buy her clothes for her birthday and the last shirt in the box will say "your going to Disney World" I can't wait for her reaction!

Awesome!!! So happy you get to see your DBF in two weeks :) We're a military family as well, but dh has been out for many many years, my nephew is still in the Army :) It's horrible keeping it in, my kids see me on the disney site, and they're used to that, so they go 'oh wishing again?' and I go 'mmhmm' :lmao:

I love your way of telling your DD, that's great! :banana: I'm not sure how we're all going to do it yet. Both families have family in FL, so my friend might tell her kids they're going to see their uncle in Orlando, and I might tell mine we're going to grandma's and just not say anything until we pass through the gates, my eldest will probably be in on it before we go, and I'll give him the camera to video the middle ones expressions when they see the gates. Not sure yet, I know if I tell them the day we're leaving all I'll hear for 8 hours is 'are we there yet' :rotfl:

:sad2::sad2::sad2:
I'm going to have to reschedule my trip. Spoke to DS's football coach, and he cannot miss any practices after 8/1 :sad2: and I really don't want to go in June or July. Was going to reschedule for November, but only open weekend, he still has football :sad2: So............ now I have to wait unitl JANUARY!!!!! :scared1:

I'm sooo bummed, I had a FD pin for Aug, my DD was 2, so not only was she free, but we could still fit in POR room :( Now we're going to stay at POP - 2 rooms, yes, it'll be more comfortable, but no FD, wahhhh...
