Surprise Arrival Gift - Need Advice

I know there are other posts, but when I searched I couldn't find any.

I would like to have a surprise arrival gift for a co-worker and his family when they go to WDW in Jan. I kind of talked them into it. They have 3 little ones, twin 4 year olds (boy and girl) and a little girl about a month shy of 3.

I don't want to go crazy. I checked the disney florist site and those baskets are more than I want to spend. Does anyone have ideas?

I was thinking GOH badges for the little ones? Can I have them delivered to their hotel prior to their arrival?
Any other thoughts? All advice is welcome.

I did a goodie basket from the Disney Florist website. It was about $54, which included delivery. My co-worker and his family LOVED it!!!

how 'bout heading over to the Creative DIS Design Board and getting designs made to iron on tee shirts for each of the kids... you can get the shirts at michaels or walmart for about $3 and the transfer paper is about $6 for a 3 pack... then you could mail the package down to their resort to be there when they check in... and it would be a souvenier they'd have for a long time

Just subscribing to the thread. We'll be going in March for my son's birthday (he'll be 4) and would love to have some presents there for him when we arrive. The florist is kinda pricey for me, though, so I just wanted to see if anyone else had more suggestions. Great post, thank you!!

Okay, you got me. I haven't done a January family yet. Please PM the following information if you are interested and I will have something waiting for your co-workers family when they arrive. I will need the name of the resort, the date they will be checking in and the name the reservation will be under. Also, it would help if you send me the first names of the kids. It is on me.

Peg those are awesome. If you do this on the side-I would be interested in ordering something for my trip in May/June. We are taking my son who will be 7mths (along with my other 2 of course) for his first trip. To answer the original post~ I am sending gift bags down to the hotel before our upcoming trip. The Disney store is having sales now,ordering tote bags (online) and filling with goodies. I will ship to the hotel (i have done this before without a problem). It is so nice to receive an unexpected gift esp. when you are at Disney (It adds to the magic). Thanks
