Surge Protectors

Do you use in line Surge Protectors at the Fort? I know there's a lot of lightning down there

I installed a Progressive industries 50 amp and it has cut the power at least 6 times at different campgrounds. I don't recall if it ever did at the Fort ,but we're not there all the time and the reset is automatic, so it may have. I believe , with all the electronics in RV's today your gambling and just might loose if you don't have one. Much better to be safe than sorry!

We alway use one, our is a Surge Guard and it reset if it cuts off. We brought it at camping world. It was less then $300, I want to say it cost about $260..

I have not had one, nor had any issues at disney. Eventually I will get one, but it will be a permanent wire as I dont want to worry about having to install and remove it at my seasonal (sort of) location.
